Israel captured Jerusalem on the battlefield, they bested an enemy who’s stated goal was the destruction of thier nation. They earned that city, they have very strong historical claims to it AND as a sovereign nation they have the right to declare what thier capital is. The new US policy only acknowledges this reality.

If the Arabs do not like the Israelis claiming Jerusalem for thier capital then maybe they will do better on the battlefield next time and maybe they will think twice before starting a war they cannot win. War has consequences, the Arabs lost Jerusalem and they must accept that if they are unable to reverse that defeat.

Everybody was looking the other way? HaHa. That’s the funnest one I’ve ready today.

He gave it, and then he passed it to someone else - i.e. allowed it to be "stolen."
He never promised to return these lands back to Iroquois Confederacy.
