Can we just look at the bright side? A miserable sanctimonious collectivist has been sent to the sidelines and kicked to the curb. That is good for America, good for freedom, and good for everyone.
I liked his speech. I hate he resigned, but I suspect we'll hear about Kristen Gillenbrand trying to run for POTUS next (that'll be stupid, but I expect so little of the Democrats at this point, they'll probably try to back her next).
I predict, however, that she will ultimately be primaried over this.
And, I predict that this was a smear campaign to remove an intelligent, outspoken Democrat from the Senate.
Watch Minnesota. There will be a huge fight for that seat in 2018. And a Republican is very likely to win it.
Party politics are a load of crap.

Interesting. Why do you have that view after seeing tight races in solidly red districts and a complete wipeout of Republicans in Virginia and New Jersey?
Good Franken needed to go and so should Trump and Moore but too many Republicans aren't honorable.
Hopefully the people of Alabama won't vote in the despicable child molesting Moore that the Republicans are currently supporting.
