Yes, someone said they saw a rifle. Was there any evidence that anyone really saw a rifle? Or did they make it up for kicks?

IMO if you don't obey a police officer you deserve what happens to you. In this day and age with BLM and other losers running the streets and the country falling apart we need to have a strong police force to maintain order.

The problem there is that you didn't read the thread and believed an uniformed poster.

Is that why they fired the officer and charged them with 2nd degree murder, after which the prosecutor agreed to seal key evidence?

Wow dude. You seem to have jumped in, done zero research and issued some basic "law and order" reply.

But seriously, after being up on 2nd degree murder charges and fired for cause.....would you care to wager where he ends up in law enforcement?

What exactly did this man do to deserve being shot like that? It's cops like this and THIS kind of blind subservience to corrupt cops that will lead to the phrase "The Land of the Free" to be as obsolete as 8 track tapes. A corrupt police state does NOT a FREE country make.

I weep for the america I once knew and enlisted to serve.

Mrs LeaveWI wants to come visit her American friends over there this winter- We'll have Pro Football on Mars before I set foot in that place again, and no way on God's Green Earth can I subject her to that warped, corrupt Gestapo-ruled shooting gallery.

I did not perceive any kind of threat that called for such an action. The guy complied and it was clearly evident that he was unarmed and could've easily been restrained.

What is highly disturbing is the acquittal... poor guy does not even get justice. And I heard he has 2 kids. The police department was thrilled with the verdict. I hope they all rot in hell for murdering his man.

Technically I suppose he could. Hopefully he won't.

Whether a response is by-the-book is irrelevant and inadmissible at trial. Shooting a man instead of cuffing him is murder, no matter what any book says.
