They buried that in the tax bill? God knows what other additions and pork was inserted in that thing.

ANWR encompasses 19 MILLION acres, which is roughly 5 1/2 times the area of the state of Connecticut. They are talking about drilling on a maximum of 2000 acres, or .01% of it. And the area they are looking to develop is the barren plain near the Arctic Ocean, not the pretty mountains the LWNJs like to show. This has overwhelming support of the people of Alaska. With 99.99% of ANWR untouched, liberals will have plenty of icecubes left.

It's just a shame that liberals are unable to ever tell the truth about any issue. I have to wonder if they are ignorant or just deceitful.

70 percent of Americans oppose drilling. Americans oppose drilling in Arctic National Wildlife Refuge - Yale Program on Climate Change Communication

We're talking a 6 month to at most 18 month supply for the U.S. There's no defending destroying that place for that.
That’s what was said about the pipeline.

Animals adapt.

Get over your outrage.

Apples and oranges. Animals don't adapt to being covered in oil or having drilling rigs and camps replace their habitat.

Alaska is probably the most socialist like state with the O&G revenue.

The world is awash in oil, anyone with any knowledge of the matter knows this won't amount to much in the near term.

The Dems always argue in extremes. There will be little to no environmental impact, and it there is the oil companies will be made to FIX IT! As they should.

On April 4, 2016, the court approved a settlement with BP for natural resource injuries stemming from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. This settlement concludes the largest natural resource damage assessment ever undertaken. We will now begin implementing restoration as laid out in the Trustees' comprehensive restoration plan. Under this settlement, BP will pay the Trustees up to $8.8 billion for restoration to address natural resources injuries and lost recreational uses.
You were saying? Wasn't that during the Obama Admin?
