Only George Wallace and Donald Trump were shameless enough to openly court them; usually it was left to local actors (and the likes of Fox News) to issue the dog whistles and code words that would summon this “deplorable” demographic to the polls. These voters have no need, indeed they have no patience, for the intellectual gloss provided by traditional conservative thinkers.

The problem for the G.O.P. has been that as its support among the broader population has waned, its primaries have become more and more dominated by this demographic. Trump, armed with a con artist’s willingness to lie openly and shamelessly, easily cashed in on the ignorance and gullibility of what is now the Republican base.

The dems/libs have no problem supporting Anthony Weiner, someone who sent explicit photos of himself to a 13 year old girl.

now kevroqs, are you big enough to admit you got it wrong or are you going to pretend wiener did not resign and did not get rejected by dems???

What is this "we" business?

Of course, go after those who knowingly hire illegals. No one has said otherwise. However, it's really naive to think that all illegals are here to just work. Many come with the intent to harm others.

Illegals have been caught voting and have been arrested for doing so. A google search will come up with articles backing this up.

Not all illegal aliens are "brown people". Not all Hispanics are "brown people". How bigoted of you to assume such a thing. In the past, ICE has deported illegals back to 189 countries. 189 countries covers every race, religion and ethnicity.

Nothing wrong with "legal" immigrants.

I really have to wonder. Just how long will it be before the American Psychiatric Association finally declares Trump Derangement Syndrome as an actual mental disorder? Perhaps then these poor people can get the professional help they so clearly need.
