When he was first elected I found myself reading every Tweet and watching his speeches, news casts, etc.
After a year of it, I just ignore him. I see a tweet and literally don’t read it. If the news quotes it, I skip the story or read the first sentence or two of the story and just disregard.
Every tweet or speech is just him putting someone, some agency, some country, or some company down. The term “fake news” has been played out.
In summary, Trump is boring. He’s a clown.
I don’t even pay attention to the guy anymore. Do you?
The original poster's point terrifies the mainstream opposition media. They are constantly beating the anti-Trump drum with endless nonsense to get people reading and watching. As Steve Bannon said, people can't live in a constant state of outrage because they eventually get bored. That is a good thing for Trump because he will be able to continue promoting his agenda.
Contrary to the scare tactics of the establishment elites (legacy media and permanent political class), the world hasn't ended and the economy is humming along just fine, thank you. People are finally relaxing and living their own lives.

i think a lot of poeple have learned to ignore Trump's ranting and focus more on his and Mitch's actions and abuses.
The good news is the dems are no longer bound by "norms" either and when we take power (and of course it swings back and forth) we can undo and double down just like they are.
we will stuff courts, we will write hundreds of EOs and if we get a trifecta we will write laws to restrain any potus from the thefts we see Trump committing.
but Trump's noise is pretty much for his base of fools at this point. and if they were dumb enough believe him in 2016 they will be dumb enough to believe his tweets... such as trump claiming he is responsible for no commercial airline crashes in the US this year ... you will find some of his cult believe him. Just as they believe in "deep state" since they made it up... (forget that Bush had power for 8 years before Obama and we on the left never whined about "deep state")
Trump needs to keep tweeting and keep the hype going, otherwise his cult will figure out they got conned, but as long as trump deliveries his entertaining shtick they will be too busy gloating and delighting to notice they are losing the last few strands of security they had...
Donald Trump is a major distraction from the difficult issues our country is struggling to resolve. I think our country would be a lot better off if more people would ignore him.
I’m just waiting for the next election...and then hopefully we’ll never have to hear about him again!
