I agree. We should have a more balance supply chain. Not 1 that is heavily relies on the Far East.

You didn't want to think this through.

So Trump's complaint is that we buy too much from China and they don't buy enough from us/.

So I'll keep this simple......if in fact the USA had a trade surplus and China heavily imported stuff from us -- guess what -- we'd still be seeing an impact on our economy. LOL,

Do you all think at all -- or just feed off the conservative media bull crap.

The markets didn't tank when China shut down...the market tanked when the virus was spreading around the world.

That means your whole 'eggs in one basket' theory is irrelevant here.

Whether China needs us more than we need them, we would have the same impact on our economy.

This isn't rocket science.

So Trump wasn't ahead of any curve. We'd still be in the same boat. By years and years.........talk about failed logic.

Looking forward to Trump being deep-sixed because of his careless slashing of health resources.

He will have the virus/blood on his hands.

Sorry to disappoint those who want the economy to fail but futures are already up.

The hearing with Chad Wolf from DHS who is heading up the response got ugly yesterday, he didn't know the infection rates and contradicted the CDC.

Quote:
Kennedy, visibly irate, appeared to get more frustrated when Wolf couldn't provide specific answers as to how many respirators and masks are available and how many would be needed for a wider outbreak. Wolf also struggled with precise mortality rate for the virus and how it compares to the flu.

Kennedy also flashed anger when Wolf told him a vaccine could be only a matter of months away, contradicting testimony from a congressional briefing earlier in the day that found it would take 12 to 18 months.
“Who’s on first here? What’s on second?” Kennedy said, referencing the classic Abbot and Costello comedy sketch on miscommunication.
“Your numbers aren’t the same as CDC’s,” he added.

Moron in chief didn't figure out that a more bloated military budget won't protect you against a viral pandemic

Wolf is another "acting" head who got the DHS office after Trump ran off Kirstjen Nielson. "Crazy Ken" Cuccinelli is in there as his side kick so this ought to be a wild ride.
