That is so completely true. Fox knows it's viewers and readers are not very smart, and they are experts at shaping their opinions through subtle forms of disinformation.
Fox News is entertainment, it is not actual news.

I had been watching "FAUX NEWS" for many many years on Cable TV. ... BUT when Fox attempted to get a licence in CANADA .. protests went in by multi millions .. and meanwhile Fox went to court to declare they were Not a News outlet BUT an Entertainment channel. YEP!! True.. BUT to name your network as Fox news came across as a "Red Line to Canadian Networks! The amount of Mis-information and biases along with propaganda was just too crossing lines that it was REJECTED>
Soon after that.. of course Faux news went into their bashing of CANADA and everything they felt about it! I was never so relieved to know.. "THEY" wouldn't have any footprint with our media .. Our regulations hold ALL media to high standards.. and get held accountable.. and WHY would we ( Canada want to spend and waste $$$$$$$ investigating and taking deep pocket Propagandist feeding such CR@p into our Country.
While Fox tried to claim lack of acceptance by CRTC that the reasoning for it is false!! Murdoch and his American channels tried to deny the reasons and claim whatever... Point can down to Canada will not condone News within Canadian networks that promote FALSENESS!
Of course Canadian can see it/hear it via American channels.. but of course.. knowing that spreading of False information will not be condoned by us!!

Bullies need to be put in their place and NOT get condoned but allowed to expose their ability to lie/propagandize their basis to inform common sensical ability to realize the difference. Great post Lyndarn, and you are lucky you don't have a mainstream source of disinformation and lies on your television.
You know, Americans are the dumbest people living in a Western style democracy anywhere in the world, and one of the reasons for that is millions of people get their "news" from Fox, and I personally know people who rely on Fox almost exclusively. Huge Trump supporters, clueless about the world, hate everyone who is not part of their tribe, etc., etc.
One of the reasons Canadians are smarter than Americans is they realize that Fox is not "news", it is disinformation and rightwing propaganda packaged as news. Millions of Americans don't realize this, and they all vote Republican.
Blaming the big bad America again is an easy and lazy argument. Something you enjoy of doing, obviously.
First of all, The Assad regime was and is a dictatorship passed from father to son, and with Ba'athist roots. It has oppressed the people of Syria for many decades. Bashar al Assad doesn't have the political or military strength of his father, so elements have revolted against him. That is in no way due to US influence. *** Get your damn fact straight before you blame ***
Libya on the other hand is more complex. The toppling of Muammar Ghadaffi created great instability, and the influence of Al Qaeda there made things much worse. While Ghadaffi invited intervention with his erratic and dangerous policies. intervention by Western Europe and the US certainly contributed massively to its current chaos. However, I hardly think that the US deserves the lions share of the blame.

Wrong. I believe Obama is trying to destabalize Syria (at least Assad had Syria stabalized). I heard that many of the refugees to Europe are actually Libyians. They used to have a country till Hitlery ruined it by ousting Gadalfi. Now Obummer tried the same thing with Syria so that Europe could be invaded with Syrian refugees. Since Europe feel for the lies of the Planned Parenthood type eugenecists, their population is now below the sustainability threshold and they are all but fated to be overrun by the Muslims, etc.
Now, Planned Parenthood, which is also open borders, is pushing the same thing here, and the climate change pushers are also trying to kill jobs and have even, at times, openly said that there should be less humans so that the climate can do better.
Then, they want to use these "mental health" laws so they can take our guns cuz they realized the Second Amendment is one of the last, and certainly the strongest, thing keeping us from suffering Europe's fate.
Of course, if they can wait for the "depolorables" to die off and then bring in illegals from craphole countries where gun rights are nonexistant and also 'teach" our kids in Common Core schools that the 2nd Amendment allows for gun control or even that it was only meant for guns in a state militia, they can pretty much kill the 2nd Amendment via ignorance and then march us off to the camps once too few are alive who know the truth.
