Well the media decides who gets the blame so yes republicans will get the blame. People will blame them, and people will get over it.
Only idiots will fall for the MSM's propaganda. Everyone else knows the Dems will shut down the government because they prioritize illegal aliens over US Citizens and the well-being of our country.
Incredibly bad optics going into the 2018 midterms, the campaign ads will write themselves, but it's Dems' prerogative to commit political suicide if they so choose.
The GOP needs to stop projecting blame on everyone else. They control the House, Senate, and the White House. They need to figure out how to govern and reach across the aisle to get the votes they need because they are supposedly in control.
If the government does shut down it is going to be their fault for not being able to be adult about the situation and coming to some form of an agreement. Put on your big people pants and try to compromise with the Democrats.

It is ridiculous that they are wiling to shut it down to protect their future voter base... excuse me ... to protect the poor downtrodden people that live on the fringe of our society... excuse me again..... Let me start over.
The Dems are willing to shut down the Government to protect non citizens that by their very nature are breaking our most basic laws and they are willing to make citizens suffer the results.
People should remember this come election time that the Dems play such petty politics.

I just can't phantom how Democrats will defend criminal aliens to the point where their actions will be responsible for shutting down the government. Seems traitorous to me. Isn't there something in the oath when they take office that mentions abiding by and enforcing the laws of the nation??
Well maybe you can phantom that there was a bipartisan agreement on a plan, and Trump opened the meetings saying he will agree to what they decided, and then he didn't.

Maybe you need reminding that 60 votes are needed to pass the budget. The Dems are going to hold the country hostage over some illegal migrants and put them above the security and welfare of the entire nation.
The Dems think they can get a DACA deal, throw in a few crumbs which do basically nothing, and that makes it okay. Wrong. Fund the country first, then worry about your illegals. One really has nothing to do with the other and this will haunt the Dems for a very long time.
