A wall is so stupid.

Seriously Trump supporters, it's the dumbest thing that you guys believe will work.

Or, are you under some dumb impression that illegally crossing a border is the only way into this country?????

Disneyworld and land are chock filled with "foreigners" that are visiting.....and did not cross over illegally.

As tons of people that are level headed already said, if they want to get in, they're going to get in, and no wall will keep them away.
The better and more logical thing to do, is start closing down businesses or increasing punishments/fines for company's that hire illegals. Keep schools from providing education to them. Etc.
IE, make the country unattractive to those trying to come in.

Hideous waste of money. Enforce it at the employer level.

Also how does this deal with the 40-50% of illegals that come in via plane and just overstay their visas?

Will wait for answer.

The illegals that overstay their visa's are a different type than those that come over the border. There are far fewer of the overstays that commit other crimes while in the U.S. They are wrong for sure, but they did follow the law initially. The illegals that come through the southern border along with the drugs are another type. Many are criminals that are running drugs. They are far more of a criminal element, although both are criminals for breaking federal law. There is your answer.
Building a better wall is not as dumb as you think. It would slow many criminals and drugs crossing the border.

The balance of the evidence is that neither commit as much crime as natives. So that is not asn issue. There certainly are disadvantages to both - particularly economic impact on our lower socioeconomic class. The over-stayers may be worse at this then the border crossers.

As I said in my post. Except urban areas, a hideous waste of money. Especially with the new deficits after the tax bill.
