We Americans are going to be trampled by illegals when they pass any magnet for illegals.

I hope the democrats hold out indefinitely. I don’t care how long I go without a paycheck. It’s time to resolve DACA once and for all.

I think he will negotiate.

Trump is already bummed that he's missing his pay-to-play Maralago weekend. His guests paid $100,000 each to have access to Trump at tonight's party, and instead they're getting Eric and his wife. Pretty funny.

On Wednesday, he's supposed to go to Davos to rub shoulders with the one-percenters of the globe. No way he can go if the shutdown is on and people are laid off. Bad optics, and all....

And we know how badly Donny wants to go to Davos and feel important, while pushing others out of the way in photos. So he's very motivated.

An indefinite holdout by Dems is a deportation guarantee.
Many Trump supporters won't fight the Dems on that and thank them for the assistance.

He is beholden to maybe 10% of the country that is racist and bigoted and anti-American values.

As for Congress, a reading of the constitution is in order. The Congress, not the president, makes the laws. Had Schumer's generous proposal been put on the floor it would have passed with veto proof majorities. Trump and the GOP together are to blame and Americans agree 2 to 1 according to polling. When the GOP can't find the courage to pass laws supported by 90% of the people, it is time to vote in a new group.
And you have not been inside any of the negotiations or meetings so you clearly have no clue what was said. None. But beat away on that invisible drum if it makes you feel better.
