Oddly, the only thing it seems currently is they are going to run is a completely made-up lie about a relationship that never existed. President Trump has been absolutely vindicated on the politically made up Russia probe.

The Democrats aren't even talking about tax reform because workers are seeing much fatter paychecks already. Every time they try to talk about Trump's tax cuts they lose lots of votes by calling thousands of dollars a year extra for many middle-class as crumbs.

The Democrats really can't come up with anything because the middle-class love Trump's big tax cuts.

They can't mention health-care because Republicans are smart and are just going to let Obama's expensive health care tonic collapse in a year or two.

The only thing they can really propose at this time is expansion of the welfare state. That will be interesting as usually Democrats start proposing lots of welfare goodies a couple months before a general election.

I just wonder what they are proposing for 2018 other than Identity politics that segments Americans into micro-groups plus drives the country apart and the completely made-up Russia probe that President Trump has been vindicated and cleared of many, many times already.

I would imagine they'll run on the Market, if there's even one left when the GOP gets through.

You should buy a VR set with the tax break if you want to keep living in a fictitious world.

Yeah, if the OP really cared, he could do the legwork himself and see what platforms Democrats in his district are running on.
But, that would be too logical so...

I guess people are beginning to see their tax cuts.

Good luck explaining to the voters that they have to give it back.

This means any national agenda will wait until after this year. What that agenda will be will depend on how well this election turns out, and what the voters who elect the Democrats want it to be. That may be a lot different from the national agenda the party had in 2016.

The Democratic party is going through the same changes the Republicans went through in 2010, when the RNC lost touch with it's base support. This present time is a mirror image of that time.

The DNC treasury is empty, and the DNC is broke, but the candidates out in the states, who are running for both state and national offices, are out-raising their incumbent Republican rivals by a mile, and the Democratic field is full of fresh faces who have never run before. The object of this election is to take as many seats as possible in the House and Senate. Nothing more.

Any national agenda the DNC proposes isn't worth a hoot until Congress has more Democrats in it. State issues will drive this election, just as they drove 2010. The next Democrat who is elected President will have a very strong party supporting him in Congress. That was the greatest lesson of the Obama presidency.
This!!!

I think you are trying to say the working class. And they abandoned the democrats in 2016 to a large degree. The democrat party is white elites and mostly poor minorities at this point. I know several white liberals who have switched to the green party after what the democrat party did to Bernie Sanders and are not looking back. Others like myself vote Libertarian and are not looking back. In time hopefully more will realize there are more than two options.

We have retirement benefits called social security. If you want more save for it. And last I checked most people have health insurance.

Fear that Guam will tip over if too many troops land on one end and demand the US convert to the metric system! Expect the war on air conditioning to heat up to combat terrorism, reword the national anthem, ban the American flag and more bathrooms for trans genders.

that is not the reason he won. he won cause he was not a politician and Clinton wasn't the best candidate and even with that Clinton still had million more votes.
