This has to stop, and its not a gun issue, its a mental illness issue
People use guns frequently to commit murder, mentally ill or not. Guns are the weapon of choice in the heat of anger because they are available, easy to use, and almost fool proof for any fool.

Point is, yes I believe semi automatic weapons should be banned for the average person. No need. A hand gun is enough protection to bear arms for protection. But I do not believe it will solve our problems. Homemade bombs will take their place. Or cars.
We have a problem in this country and it’s not all guns. It’s hate. It’s lack of morals. Lack of values. No value for life.
I understand you don't have guns, but do your realize that most handguns are "semi-automatic"

Never said it was possible or practical....

But somewhere along the way we stopped bringing up kids with basic respect for others and life in general.

Mass media/ video game/ social media culture has reduced not only the necessity for basic dignity and respect towards others but it has minimized the consequences for not having it.

Look at this forum for example.

People here trade insults towards "the other side" all the time.

Not knowing anything about who they're talking to....could be some dolt halfway around the world or it could be your neighbor across the street.

Faceless interaction means we often forget that there's an actual person on the other end of the keyboard.

Nice straw man arguement.
Trucks were designed for transportation.
What are guns designed for?

Wow.

You're seriously contemplating leaving the U.S.? I don't know if we can discuss it here but I'd like to get to know the details about this.

Hopefully bombs will be legalized under the second amendment and we can start going down the bomb store and get them.

This dude just killed 17 and injured countless others without any trouble using an AR 15!

personally I prefer edged weapons

anger issues are a mental deficiency... some people will even use vehicles

the problem is mental instability, not guns, bats, knives, bombs, or even vehicles

Not as frequent as you'd think...
