Wasn't one guy wielding a knife was it? Seems it was a "group" of people wielding knives. Nothing is quite as efficient as a gun in one person's hands.

Someone Google it and let's put all the knife attacks with mass casualties side by side with all the mass shootings and see what the body count is.

That is horrible, and sad. The big difference in China is that they will deal with these murderers swiftly, and ruthlessly. They will me made and example for others to fear. The UK has largely banned knives because of incidents like these. Yet they still happen as to shooting, vehicular homicide, acid attacks, etc.

The shooting in Colorado was more than one person also. One guy took out 168 people in Oklahoma City. A handful took out 3000 here. You have no soap box to stand on.
