The investigation did run it's course. Nothing there after a year and $$$$.
What you want is a perpetual kangaroo court to antagonize the President until he's out of office in 7-years.
America sees your game!
The Benghazi investigation ran from September of 2012 until December, 2016, a little over four years, and produced absolutely no evidence of wrongdoing. In nine months Mueller has four people in custody, three of them talking, and indictments against a hostile foreign country that interfered in and tried to throw our presidential election.
Mueller is doing just fine, and he's way ahead of schedule. We need to let him finish his job. Anyone who doesn't is either afraid of what he might find or doesn't care about the future of America.
I don't think Mueller is incompetent. I think he's trying to get some kind of indictment (any kind of indictment...it obviously doesn't matter for what, at this point) against these shadowy Russian figures who will never see the inside of an American courtroom while simultaneously avoiding hauling people associated with the Clinton campaign into court as well.
Because all of the facts now before us indicate that Christopher Steele is, on a prima facie basis, clearly guilty of violating 52 U.S.C. §30121. And it is equally likely that one or more persons associated with the Clinton campaign who solicited the fake Russian dossier from Steele are also guilty of violating 52 U.S.C. §30121.
But that would be quite an uncomfortable turn of events, wouldn't it...if Mueller were forced to file the same charges against the Clinton camp that he was sent to lodge against the Trump campaign. He would have great difficulty explaining how his prosecutorial net came to ensnare the very people who sent him after Trump.
So, he figures, he'll charge the Russians under what is essentially the wrong statute, and hope the obvious question about the Steele and the Clinton campaign never comes up.
Why would Mueller protect Steele? Have you read the dossier, or read Glenn Simpson's testimony? I have. It explains in detail how the dossier came to be and why Steele was the man chosen for the investigation. The "dossier" was a series of memos produced over a period of six months, and the FBI had them before Hillary knew they were in the world.

Most of the people indicted have nothing to do with Russian collusion
The 13 indicted basically were indicted for trolling on Facebook
So basically the farther this goes on, the more obvious this is a fishing expedition
If there is "nothing there," then where did indictmente od Flynn, Manafort, etc. come from, not to mention these latest revelations? Sounds pretty damn productive to me.
Dont get your panties in a twist; the investigation will conclude when all the info is reviewed. What you want is carte blanche for Russians and Trump. You get neither.
M

Do you Dems understand that Russian "collusion" is over and we are fully vindicated?
The investigation continues. Arrests of people in Trumps team have been arrested, and there will probably be more to come. No idea why you think its over.

If there's no collusion, there's no collusion. But shutting down the investigation into a hostile foreign nation interfering in our election is such a stupid idea, I'm surprised any American would bring it up.
The most prolific lying POTUS in history says there is no collusion and his supporters continue to believe him, saying the "fake" media is lying
The media has nothing to gain by being untruthful; they are simply reporting events. Trump has everything to lose by admitting wrongdoing, and these new charges suggest that Trump is lying once again.

Mueller is not protecting Steele. Why would Steele even need protection from prosecution?
He ran across some information he thought our FBI should know and passed it on. That's what you're supposed to do.
If Don Jr. had done that, he wouldn't be in so much hot water.
