Don't blame this on the liberals, this is what he said. Trump wont put himself in harm's way for a liberal or conservative child. In a speech to a group of state governors, Trump boasted that he would have run unarmed into the school, to save the students, if he had been there. I guess his bone spurs that kept him from military service, have subsided?
Trump also proposed an "early-warning system" for schools, whatever that might be and renewed his call to arm selected teachers. Not surprisingly, the Governor of Texas endorsed this, but the Governor of Washington, Jay Inslee, rejected it.
it was the job of the policeman to go in and try to stop the situation. Of course libs want to take the blame of the sheriff and his deputy and blame the NRA

So remove the political bias, why do we shun an idea that seems to be working, or at least not doing any harm? It might not be an ideal scenario for all schools, but its working for parts of TX so why not let it be a viable scenario for other places to try?

Most of his deferments were because of school, only one for medical. Towards the end of the draft he was available, but the draft ended...not his fault it ended. He also had such a high number that he would never had been called.
