Sometimes I get so sick of the us vs them threads. People are people. If we were face to face we would be much more polite to each other and probably listen much more.
Is Hollywood in a great place these days? I don’t think they are. Seems all they are putting out are remakes and nerdy super hero movies. But if they were to the other extreme they probably would be just as bad.
If they completely banned any political discussion and just went about their business they would start making great movies again.
The crap that the right-wingers could produce, wouldn't even draw Trump's cult as viewers.
Exactly, the OP acts like conservatives don't produce movies all the time. The problem isn't that conservative movies don't exist, the issue is that they suck so bad that even conservatives don't want to watch them.
Here is a short list of conservatives films that were massive bombs:
1. Atlas Shrugged was a massive failure at the box office and the two sequels were basically direct to DVD flops
2. Kirk Cameron's Saving Christmas 0/100 on Rotten Tomatoes and only 30% of the few people that saw it reported liking it
3. God's Not Dead series - 15% tomatometer original, 9% sequel, when your 'star' is Kevin Sorbo, nuff said about the quality or lack thereof
4. Clint Eastwood has been making the same Murica Eff Yeah movies for aging curmudgeons over and over again for a couple decades with diminishing returns from critics and box office alike
