Humans are violent by nature. Our most prominent institution, the State, is based on the foundation that you will submit or be fined, caged, or killed.
Stay clear of diverse, high crime areas and be armed. What do you want me to do about violent crime, blame white people who aren't committing it?

Anti-multiculturalism is the cause of "so much" violence. All that goes with it - racism, classism, prejudice, etc. - works against us and leads to violence.
Simply put, when we recognize and remember what our country was founded on, open to all, rich in culture and diversity, we flourish and are more at peace. When we forget that and/or work against that, the violence rises.

That's because almost everyone else spends an inordinate amount of time condemning white people and supporting making America a highly populated majority-minority country. Change the immigration policy and stop condemning white people and I won't have any complaints along those lines.

America wasn't diverse at all for all practical purposes even when I was a youth and I'm not all that old.

Violence has been decreasing for hundreds of years.
The whole world was more violent in the past, but that is just exaggerating and cherry picking. You're not comparing the rates of violence of other cultures during the same era. What do you think the violence levels were in the Americas and Africa and most of Asia at the time? The middle east was violent in antiquity too. There were lots of slaves, they crucified and skinned people alive etc for merely having a dissenting opinion.
If the whole world was very violent back then, then how can you say that some groups are inherently (genetically disposed) to be violent and others are not. If what you say is true then Western Europeans would have always been peaceful in a societal sense even back in the Middle Ages. Instead all white Western European cities like London back in the old times had a crime rate like the South Side of Chicago.
You are demonstrating a clear anti-European bias and there's no shortage of sources of that.
Pointing out the truth about Western Europe's historic crime problems doesn't make me Anti-European. When you point out crimes stats in black neighborhoods does that make you a racist?
So it was lower in 1600 than many parts of the world even today. And your link is actually agreeing with me that Ancient Egyptians were different genetically from modern Egyptians and ancestors of the near East. But there are other studies showing they're ancestral to or of European haplogroups.
My link was to show you that Ancient Egyptians are not genetically related to modern Europeans. Which is what you were trying to say.
I know when I look at the paper and see these violent people who pulled guns at a stoplight (for example), they are usually white dudes who look about 55 years old.
America was founded in violence (slavery, rebellion) and it has consumed us since. Irish gangs, Mafia, Black and Puerto Rican gangs, etc.....lots of Russian gangs and underground doings also. Remember a while back...Asian gangs were feared....
I think much of our violence stems from our inequality (and therefore, poverty) and our general lack of caring about the society as a whole. This results in a somewhat controlled chaos - where only the Thin Blue Line (often corrupt and violent themselves) keep many places from becoming 3rd world.
Note - this is not an "urban" thing...as the mountaineers in the Cumberland Plateau and other areas had murder and violence rates off the charts. But since the whole place was run by the coal bosses, justice was generally not done. One anecdote tells of a mountaineer who shot a guy that called him a bad name. The sheriff came to see the murderer, who said "he called me this..and that...so I HAS to shoot him" and that was the end of the story!
We talk about the Wild West but there was a lot of wild everywhere. Murder rates in KY and TN were once as high as 250 per 100K residents. Compare that to TWO (per 100,000) currently in MA.
I guess it's another regional difference - but violence is WAY down compared to many times in the past. Still, some states are 3 or 4X others.
E Asians and Western Europeans are the most intelligent and have less violent societies. Why do you keep asking me what psychometric research and statistics, not to mention cultural achievement clearly show? Much of Africa and Pre-Columbian America and other third world areas have always been violent and deficient in progress.
Lol...what? Western Europeans committed the Holocaust, and they did so with relative ease and they comfortably reassumed their former lives as if they’d done absolutely NOTHING!
That’s not including the 100 million people they killed in wars over the last century alone. Western Europe and Europe in general is the most violent region on this Earth over history.
And we won’t even worry about the violence Western Europeans exported elsewhere. The crime wave this country experienced during Prohibition and in its aftermath was almost SOLELY perpetrated by European immigrants or their second generation children. Today’s drug crime has its roots in the post Prohibition gang activity of Jewish, Italian and Irish gangsters who were the first to bring and distribute heroin in this country. While the Jews were nearly all derivative of Eastern Europe, the Irish and Italians obviously were not.
This idea of Europe as some violence free, bucolic paradise is a recent post WW2 phenomenon. In post WW1 Weimar Germany...the most cultured and technologically advanced nation in Europe, they used to kill their political opponents in the streets like dogs.
