I believe the demand for guns has a relatively inelastic demand curve. If foreigners sold less guns over here it would primarily result simply in more sales by domestic manufacturers.

There is hypocrisy in that these governments pass laws to protect their own citizens but allow their export to the US.

Not so ironically, these gun manufacturers are big donors to the NRA.

As to 2nd amendment arguments, the US Supreme Court has made clear government can make laws to control guns.

Are American citizens mere cannon fodder for these companies to make a profit and should we limit the amount of arms being imported into this nation? Should we add tariffs to guns?

Yes, Europeans are good at manufacturing long guns. They have a manufacturer on every corner.

They cannot sell guns in their nations of the EU, they have to export to stay in business.

That characterization is absolutely wrong, and very insulting. Did Huffpo tell you to think that?

Probably not as many as are killed by Camrys, Accords, Civics, Highlanders, Rav4s, Rogues, CR-Vs, Altimas, Corollas and Sentras. Why is a death more or less tragic based on where the manufacturer is headquartered?

No.
That is how we rid this place of bullies around here.
It is very efficient.
I would sacrifice my life, so that person never does that to anyone else, or 1000's more.
Liberty is not preserved by cowards.

Men with balls of steel, make sacrifices everyday, so you can keep your liberties.

They do not completely bar US firearms.

Don't project your thoughts as mine. Maybe it is a good thing you don't play with guns.

Every person in the USA is a gun manufacturer. They just have to be taught.

The Progressives are MASTER Projectors. They can't trust themselves with a gun, so nobody else should have them. Many, if not most people have the components to make a gun in their garage, or basement. It is not difficult if one has a little instruction.

Oklahoma City, and World Trade Center style bombings where hundreds, or thousands can be killed at once concerns me a lot more than a puny little, poodle shooter AR-15.
