then as a lawyer you should know that this has zero to do with porn and everything to do with illegal financial transactions.

According to Stormy Trump did not 'protect' himself.

There is an election in 4+ months, the House and Senate is at stake. Even if the evidence developed out of the raid is thrown out of court, that is irrelevant. What is important is the ammunition to be developed and leaked to pet media outlets that can be used to sway voters to elect an impeachment Congress, exactly what the deep state wants.
No evidence? Really?

LEts see...we have over a dozen Russians indicted just to start with, evidence that the Trump campaign lied about a meeting involving sanctions being lifted, Roger Stone communicating directly with a Russian agent, and more. People who say stuff like this are denying reality.

And remember this-Muellers mandate is not to see if Trump colluded with Russia. Its to investigate Russian activities that influenced our elections. And THAT is definitely a home run with the indicted Russians. And he is working his way through other folks. Gates and Manafort are clearly dirty.

And stepping over a line? Please. Cohens issues are unrelated to Mueller. Yes Mueller may have provided information that got Cohens office raided, but it was not Muellers decision to raid him. And none of the privileged attorney client conversations are going to come out-thats why the FBI taint team is in place, to prevent EXACTLY that. As a side note-they arent privileged if they are about commiting a crime.

If Mueller wanted a firestorm he would be doing this closer to the election. You are trying to turn this into a political thing instead of a law and order issue.

And no the evidence developed out of the raid is not going to be thrown out. These people are following the law. Maybe you should spend some time learning about this stuff. Like what a taint team is, or what attorney client privilege does, and does not cover. And who is going to leak it? So far Muellers team has been rock solid in NOT leaking anything.

And deep state? Really? Take the tinfoil hat off. Theres no deep state. Not really. Thats a bunch of conspiracy level nonsense. We WISH our government was so well organized.

That actually was kind of weird considering how much in love with himself he is.

Yeah. Why hasn't Jeff Sessions pursued this? And why hasn't Trump made good on his "Lock her up!" chant.

It almost seems like Trump took advantage of peoples' emotions for their votes and then dumped them. Nah. That can't be it.

Maybe there is a reason for the proforma clause about illegitimate children in the NDA. Thinking about the possibility of Trump 'love children' gives me the shivers.

The NDA was included in one of Stormy's attorney's filings. Read it folks. That document would be grounds for malpractice IMHO.

Thso who support this crap should read the George Orwell book 1984 to get a clue in the direction these Gestapo agencies are taking us just to protect their own power grab corruption.
You do know that Attorneys DO in fact get their stuff seized with warrants. Attorney client privilege is not absolute. If you and your attorney conspire to commit a crime, or if your attorney commit a crime thats all out the window. But it DOES take a high bar to get the warrant. And apparently that high bar was met.

The odds are high that Cohen is going to jail. If he has made a deal he might....*might* manage to get probation. Him going on CNN last night and talking about how professional and polite the FBI was indicates to me he knows that too.

My guess is that they have a lot of info from the already cooperating witnesses and Cohen either has already made a deal or is negotiating one to join their ranks.

Which is likely what has Trump so spooked.
Cohen can't divulge confidential information between Trump and him unless it was info about a crime or intent to commit a crime. In any case, it's a difficult call. But if he's looking at a felony he'll be disbarred anyway, so maybe he doesn't care.

From what I understand, it he was involved in the crime or the coverup, attorney-client privilege does not apply.

Only if Trump committed the crime and he had no part in it, plus he had no knowledge about another such crime being committed would he be bound by privilege.

However, I think the penalty for revealing privileged information is being disbarred, which will likely happen anyway.

Not that weird. He claimed his careful avoidance of STDs in the '90s was his "personal Vietnam," and yet he didn't use a condom when having intercourse with a pornographic actress who's had thousands of partners who themselves have had thousands of partners.

This is just more evidence of how wildly inconsistent, dishonest, dumb and deluded he is.
