there's still a lot unknown and a lot of speculation flying so i'm trying to take everything with a grain of salt but...... i'd be very surprised to find out this raid was based solely on the daniels and mcdougal pay-offs.
Cohen has been plenty pleasant about this whole affair.
My guess is that they have a lot of info from the already cooperating witnesses and Cohen either has already made a deal or is negotiating one to join their ranks.
But the Dems are not driving this investigation, these are all Trump's appointees, republicans. Why y'all love to blame all this on the Dems. Y'all have both houses, the White House, and all these FBI appointees, and it's all the Dems fault. Just because y'all hate the Dems and need somebody blame all this on, doesn't make it the Dems fault. Y'all blame everybody except Trump, and all the crooked people he surrounded himself with.
The willful denial we see in many of the Trump supporters here is incredible.
They need to believe that the entire Justice system including hardcore republican members are colluding to destroy Trump.
That is 1000s of people with each and every single one working to collude against Trump. It would take only one or two to expose such a collusion... yet in mind of trumpers somehow magically not one single American patriot exists in the FBI, CIA etc... not a single one..

i'm not sure that could be a legally binding clause. you'd be asking a witness to remain silent about a crime ( as archaic as the individual law it may be )

I believe that the contents of a prenup agreement in conjunction with a marriage contract would be totally up to the individuals.
Having failed to find anything related to his mandate, no evidence of Russian collusion, Mueller is baiting Trump. By stepping over the line and fishing for evidence in confidential and privileged attorney-client relations, he wants a firestorm. Timing is everything here. There is an election in 4+ months, the House and Senate is at stake. Even if the evidence developed out of the raid is thrown out of court, that is irrelevant. What is important is the ammunition to be developed and leaked to pet media outlets that can be used to sway voters to elect an impeachment Congress, exactly what the deep state wants.

You are a practicing lawyer and have not been able to follow along how and why this particular warrant came to be and by whom? That is really hard to believe...
