I love how the Right hasn't figured out that they own all three branches of the Federal Government. Maybe somebody should tell them. It's weird. It's like they think somebody else is in charge....... The raid wouldn't have been signed off by a judge unless Cohen either a) refused to cooperate with subpoenas, or b) there was a strong belief he may have been destroying evidence related to the case.
You don't know that. How do you know that? How is it that you know that the judge isn't actually in on this witch hunt himself, and hasn't been paid off or threatened to gain cooperation?
Actually given that the alternate route such as subpoena is the FIRST of the SIX guidelines developed for these situations, the odds are that it was completely ignored and that makes judicial malfeasance (or coercion) that much more likely. Because if it had been subpoenaed we would have heard all about how Cohen wasn't complying.

A well-funded hard-left extremists, the media, and Obama/Clinton holdovers in the gov't bureaucracy have combined with forces within the US intelligence apparatus – the “Deep State” -- to block and undermine Trump’s every move. What emerged from the hard left, once Trump was elected, was a political strategy calculated to block Trump from being inaugurated, and when that failed, to make sure Trump would not serve out his term. This Deep State or Shadow Government secretly wields power in Washington, and why the Deep State is dangerous.
I'm pretty sure the thinking is to first take down Trump, by whatever means, then worry about picking up the pieces of our justice system later.
Is that why Flynn, Gates, Padadoupolous have plead guilty to lying to the FBI and made a plea deal and Van derZwann has plead guilty and taken his court ordered punishment?
Because they are taking down Trump first???
I would say Manafort is likely to be taken down before Trump and Cohen running a close second to Manafort...
Nicole Miller said today on her afternoon MSNBC show that she had spoken with someone who knows Michael Cohen well, and Cohen who has been described as a loyalist who would take a bullet for Trump said that not only would Cohen not take a bullet for Trump, he wouldn't go to jail for him either...
Now I know that Manafort fears Putin's long arm more than Trump or Mueller--
I don't expect him to make a plea deal unless he can be guarded closer than Fort Knox but Cohen wasn't really in bed with Putin---he only did dirty deals for Trump...
So Cohen is maybe going to be squeezed hard enough now that his records, phones, and laptops are in FBI hands that he might consider becoming a cooperating witness rather than a target of the investigation...
