Alan Dershowitz on the FBI raiding Michael Cohen's office: "This is a very dangerous day today for lawyer client relations... The deafening silence of the ACLU and the civil libertarians about the intrusion into lawyer-client confidentiality is really appalling."
That's ridiculous. If privileged material was seized, it won't be used in any prosecution. The AC privilege doesn't protect against lawful seizures.

Hmmm...they must of found something really really bad or they wouldn't have done it
The ones who are laughing so loud may not be laughing for long.
I bet that President Trump will not sit back and let this just play out like the democrats want to
Play it out.
C'mon, we all know Leftists aren't capable of original thinking, much less extrapolation. They only repeat the talking points they're told to think by CNN, et.al.

This assumes that there is an invasion of the lawyer client privilege. I realize that Trump's allies and surrogates would like to spin it that way to keep the base in line but that is not likely to be the case.
If you or I hire a lawyer, and that particular attorney is engaged in some other nefarious activity (could be anything, smuggling or treason or tax evasion ... anything), the law enforcement investigating your attorney is not violating our lawyer-client privilege.
The attorney is not above the law, and the fact that an attorney whom is implicated in some criminal activity has clients and cases does not shield him from investigation.
Just compare the careers of the 2 other men appointed with Michael Cohen to be National deputy campaign finance directors of the RNC---
IF you take the time and read the press blurb, you can see that Cohen was lifted to that position likely to be a bag man for Trump--to be the "Ray Donovan-type fixer" he identifies with for all problems Trump
So that Trump had an inside man on the money train that was running ALL the RNC campaigns--and note that Cohen has no experience really working with money--
he is not a CPA in addition to being an attorney as some attorneys who deal with financial matters often are...
If you think Cohen was the weak sister on the team you are oh, so right--
Because Cohen's job was to be Trump's eye on the ground and on the money...

You mean like but Hillary, witch hunt, no collusion, it's the Dems, Mueller, more no collusion, more Hillary, more witch hunt?

If you think that President Trump can fire Sessions or Rosenstein and insert someone to fire Mueller and think he can get away with it, you better be ready for martial law to take place in the US for him to enforce it...
That challenge to the rule of law would make it to the Supreme Court faster than Trump can eat a Big Mac
And if he is betting on winning in THAT court because of its newest Justice--that Trump appointed--Trump could be VERY surprised in the outcome...

Yes, but they still have the privileged commutations.
These people leaked highly classified information to undermine Trump, and his administration, Trump has to assume people who shouldn't have these privileged commutations are reading them as we speak.
Trump, and his team were fully cooperating, there was no need to raid his lawyer's office.
Alan Dershowitz is one of the most well respected legal minds today, he is correct, what Mueller did today was extremely dangerous, and undermines one of our fundamental rights, the right to legal counsel.
