No president is going to be able to change the morals of those that are lacking in this country. However, Bush was a better moral role model than Clinton. Bush kept his pants zipped in the Oval Office.

How do you know he did? Maybe he really has had sex with another woman in office, but unlike Monica, perhaps she wishes to keep that a secret from the public and to carry to her grave.

Wink So is the US a more moral country after 8 years of Bush?

The odds aren't good, no...

Anyone who can still support Bush on the Iraq war cannot be considered rational. Most Republicans fully believe it was a disastrous blunder. McCain's strategy depends on the willingness of the American people to spend the treasure on a pointless war. We cannot afford it but unfortunately Bush has created a money hole [like *******] of US lives & taxes on Iraq for decades.

How is receiving oral sex makes you a bad role model?

I'm willing to bet that most Presidents since FDR have received or even performed oral sex. I would also like to mention that they say with the exception of Truman and Carter (and know possibly Bush II), every US President since FDR is known to have cheated on a spouse before or during their Presidency.

FDR and Eisenhower had mistresses. JFK was infamous for his relationships with many starlets. LBJ had more than his fair share of flings (he also used to host meetings while he was on the can). There were rumors about Nixon. I remember hearing some old time Washington reporter joke on a talk show about Ford that many Senators didn't like him because he'd steal their secretaries away from them and he didn't mean in a career capacity. Reagan cheated on Jane Wyman with Nancy.

You get the idea.

I wish people would stop repeating that lie.
Bush acted using information he received from intelligence reports and by George Tenet's report. That is not "lying!" Accept it already!

Bush is God.

Since Bush is God, and he has led us in his ways, my moral positions are that I should be more like Bush. And after 8 years, as a country, we are more like bush, so yes we are more moral...
