The only thing I've seen rought back and upheld is a belief that gun-boat diplomacy and saber rattling can substitute for statesmanship and leadership. More expected from a 'Banana Republic' than the US of A.
I think you discribed it perfectly Sad but true we were sold a bill of goods with this administration/

The biographies & analysis of Bush is & will be painful [no other president has been this disliked EVER

Bushisms/jokes aside, his inability to communicate and lead beyond partisan corporate projects has left the nation wanting much much more. Even the Texas university didn't want the Bush library with faculty/student protest.

The despise is not on Bush the person [he always seems like a kooky neighbor that you have beers with & watch sports]. His legacy is incompetence and political crimes. Bush was the first president most people considered as a total tool of the extreme Right [pushing theological rigidity as the model while fondling teenaged boys & cops. It's as much a Republican party disaster as it is Bush. Mr Bush led his party & our nation into depletion and world-wide shame.

Can anyone compare Bush to any other president in terms of failure & corruption?

the only president in my lifetime that compares would be richard nixon, but even he had some hefty accomplishments in the years before the watergate trials. bush should never have been elected to the highest office in the land. he has ruined the country so much that it will take years to recover.
