Yeah I expected he would go first .

Seems like he was in bad shape several years now .

Barbara Bush is 'alert', talking
I know her family is heartbroken, but the fact that she was in her right mind right up to the end was a blessing, and they probably know that. Seeing a loved one decline physically hurts. Seeing one decline mentally is torture.

Since it looks like there's no way to opt out of dying in this life, I think I'd like to go out like Mrs. Bush.

RIP to a fiercely loyal wife, mother and family matriarch. She was much loved by her family, admired by many and lived a full life. My heart goes out to her husband particularly.

Mrs. Bush promoted family literacy as First Lady, which was a wonderful platform that Laura Bush continued in a similar way.

I know. I can not begin to imagine how he must be lost right now. On one of the news coverage segments on her passing, there was a part where George said "She still likes to hold my hand". Very touching.

I had know idea she would die so soon. Obviously, her family did. I know she was 92 and in failing health but it doesn't make it any easier for her family. She was such a wonderful and graceful lady. I don't think George will be around much longer either. He's been in failing health as well and just lost the love of his life

A fairly balanced picture of the woman written in 1992.

But whatever her faults, she puts Melania to shame, I think, as to what a First Lady should be.

She passed on with dignity. That is hard to do. I commend her for her dedication to her husband and family.

Unfortunately for you, one must have class to recognize class.
