I always thought they were probably intellectually great together and in sync with their beliefs and aspirations. I'm not sure how much "in love" they were. I think Hillary probably more so than Bill because I think he was a "player" even back then. But at a certain point, especially back then, men married not necessarily who they were over the moon for but who they thought would make a good partner.
I think they got that but Bill can/could probably never be faithful and Hillary just learned to deal with it or accept it because the other parts of her marriage worked for her.
It was a sham marriage from the get go. Two ambitious politicians who married to advance their political goals. It's a miracle they even had 1 kid. Neither is a husband or wife in the true measures of the roles.

It is amazing that many CD POC posters have not hit the lottery or a least made money short selling. These guys are omnipotent. The know the motivations and feelings of people they have never laid eyes on nor had a conversation with.They know inside the marriage of people they have never met better than I know my own of 59 years.
Glad you live in a fairy tale world where everything is just peaches and cream. Most marriages are more realistic (hence the high divorce rate) and everyone has their own definition of "a successful" marriage.
Hillary and Bill weathered storms that would have torn most marriages apart, so it evidently works for them. Who are you to decide and comment on another persons relationship ?
