Sigh...I've never paid much attention to Candace Owens and after watching/listening to this, I understand now why I had no real interest in doing so.

For the OP - she is just the typical black token Fox News pundit. She spoke nothing of culture as well in this video....

FYI on black culture for the OP - it has always included conservative leaning people. FYI to all the white folks who only know black people from TV (and by knowing I mean actually knowing someone outside of work who is either a family member or who is your neighbor you interact with frequently and who is actually a friend of yours) and to Candace herself - we are not the stereotype you believe us to be.

On the content in her video - the idea that black people are in any way "enslaved" mentally in the mind is akin to believing we have inferior minds - believing that an entire group of people are overly inferior is a racist thought.

I've mentioned before on these forums that there are MANY black people who have a black inferiority complex - meaning they truly believe that black people are inferior to whites and other non-black people. If I wanted to judge Candace on this video -she'd be one of those people based on things she's said - that she chose to think for herself. IMO she is trying to act like she is a "special negro" I call this personally "special negro syndrome." And FWIW special negroes usually get very upset when I tell them about themselves and also note that special negroes can also be liberals as the inferiority complex knows no political leanings/ideology- some of the worse inferiority complex having, special negroes IMO are actually the extreme "hotep" types and black nationalists and uber liberals who follow the mantra of very VERY liberal white liberals - conservative ones usually aren't that bad but Candace showed herself in this video to be one - the idea that we cannot think for ourselves to any wide degree and come to our own conclusions, that we are a demographic are overwhelmingly controlled by hip hop....she was pretty hilarious in this assessment and honestly, very....I can only say basic - she's a basic black woman suffering from special negro syndrome. I feel bad for her in that she views her people and indirectly herself of being very capable of being brainwashed in a way that is more prevalent than other people.

Also, again on OOW birthrates that's the only thing that has increased for the black population since the 1960s and the rate actually hasn't gone up 72% the rate itself is 72%. The increase is about 50% and it has slowed actually since the 1980s in particular.

In summation, I don't see why you all think this woman is special or why she thinks she is special cause she doesn't watch TV, which is ridiculous to me being that she is on TV and she surrounds herself with people who are of only one particular view point. The idea that people who don't agree with her are "enslaved" is basic and lacks critical thought on her part. The fact that she highlighted how she "researched herself" is indicative of her suffering from special negro syndrome. She seeks to set herself apart from blacks she sees as beneath her mentally - she thinks we/they are inferior.

Not a very impressive woman IMO.

The Democrats know, for a fact, that they will never win another election if their support among blacks drops below 70-75%. The last 50 years of their politics has been devoted to keeping that one demographic as placated and drugged as possible with the various goodies of the welfare state and the affirmative action institutions, and getting enough non-blacks to agree with selling welfare statism to blacks to absolve past racial guilt, signal present virtues, etc.

But from cradle to grave, the American black has politicians at every level pumping welfare state sunshine up their butts, nonstop, constantly, forever. And yeah, the lion's share of that blame does go to LBJ, who knew EXACTLY what he was doing and why:

And that has been the central theme guiding Democrat politics ever since. Give them things to keep them quieted down and loyal to your party, but also make sure you make it clear that you'll yank their free candy the minute they get too "uppity" or something.

How people either cannot or will not see this is literally mind boggling, as in I cannot comprehend how people cannot see what their own eyes show them so clearly.
LOL on the bold. I'm black and have never been placated and drugged by democrats. You ideas of inferiority of black people are showing here as well lol.

A majority of black people are not on welfare. It is amazing to me how invested so many of you around here are of stereotyping black people.

FWIW this is a reason why many black people do not support conservatives and the GOP in particular - they are very invested in viewing us in a stereotypical, inferior lens.

What you stated above - those ideas are very prevalent amongst conservatives and the GOP and black people would be very dumb to act like they don't exist.

Both you, the majority of the posters on this thread, and Candace Owens herself in this video are consistently telling us that you see us as dumb a$$ses who need to take our dumba$$es to your line of thought because you know what is better for us than our dam selves.

It is very pathetic.

Honestly, I want to know what you guys think is so "powerful" about this video.

What is she saying that conservatives don't regularly say.....?

It is very strange you all fawn on black people that cow-tow to what you regularly say about us as a demographic and try to insinuate it is more relevant or "powerful" just because a black person says/said it.

Very telling about you all.

For the OP, what is culturally portrayed in this video that is relevant to black American culture (note, I don't have faith that you even know anything about black American culture lol)?

She is annoying and hard to watch. I think she is just looking for celebrity. Previously she tried to start a doxing website, which is pretty disgusting.

It may be seen as something similar to Moses leading people out of bondage. It was a long time ago and I have no idea what color he really was or if it would matter. People simply can't lead if no one follows. Time will be her judge as much as any person.

It advocates self-determination and self-actualization instead of welfare-dependence and perpetual victimhood. It's a very empowering message.

The point is that once an American has achieved the credentials to work and has been certified by past government administrators, then that person should never be considered as "unemployed". Therefore, each American not employed by the private sector will automatically be employed at some capacity by the government. That's be it federal, state, county, or city.

All academic, family, employment, health, social, and criminal records will already be known by the government anyway.

However, the difference will be that governmental officials will become more communicative and proactive in preventing social problems prior to occurrence.

Big Brother has been living with us for decades now....

Again, she is not saying anything that other conservative pundits dont' say. Why do you think she is special when she says the same things you all say other than that you think since she is black all us duma$$ blacks will just follow her cause we are the same skin color?

Also the OP says "the culture is changing" I'd like to know how this video represents any change in black culture in America since we've always had conservative black people in America....

Will mention, again, on bondage, why do you all think that black people cannot think for ourselves - do you think we have inferior minds when it comes to knowing what we want from a political perspective?
