I think the lady is genuinely liked, and people are concerned on her behalf. Obviously this is an extraordinary situation. I don't detect any malice from the people asking questions about her (they might direct malice toward her husband, because he is a notorious philanderer and makes her suffer). She is the wife of the president, a very public social role in our society.
If accusing people of being conspiracy theorists over concern for someone who has dropped out of the public eye is the best they can do, these people are morally and intellectually bankrupt.

I think folks are misguided. While a few smart asses say stupid things -- most are just concerned that she hasn't been as visible after a medical procedure.
But , it is true -- a few people say stupid things, and then it become anyone expressing concern or interest is ATTACKING her.
Which is totally fine, but it seems like they could do a better job of reporting on her condition and whereabouts.
The FLOTUS' health is usually made public knowledge.
That's my theory as well, and I hope that's all it is.
She's in a very stressful situation (just being married to Donald, but now with the added allegations and revelations), so I hope if it was stress related, they took proactive measures, rather than responding to a breakdown.
I do wish that they were a little more forthcoming with what's going on. If Michelle Obama had disappeared for this long; the conspiracies, and hate coming from the right would have been the main news story. Congress might have even begun impeachment proceedings on some crazy grounds.
