lets hope he can turn their economy around. if he can get taxes down and regulations cut, he can unleash californias economy. and that will bode well for the rest of the country as well.
Californians have already saved themselves from what has happened to the red states. Cox is proposing to do it to them, as well. What an unrewarding future he has chosen for himself to pursue.

From May of this year:
“California's economy is so large, and has grown so quickly, that it is now the fifth-biggest in the world all by itself, according to US government data.
Figures released on Friday by the US Department of Commerce put California's effective GDP from 2017 at around $2.747 trillion. It said the state's economy grew by 3.4% in the past year.”
I've lived in parts of the country where only one party has any chance of winning an election. (both R and D)
Regardless of which party that is, it is never a win for the people that live there.
Back-room dealing, corruption, echo-chamber group think, subversion of a more open voting process in lieu of whom the party picks to win....so enjoy I suppose.
Mismanagement: Bloated state government, excessive budget surplus (~$9 billion), rising tax rates and/or more taxes being created all while the quality of social programs, education, etc. never seem to improve.
Cost of living in the urban areas: Slow to address the out of balance supply/demand issue that plagues California's largest cities. Restrictive development + insane demand + general apathy towards rural development = people and businesses moving to other states.
Out of touch state representatives/congress people: Pelosi and Feinstein are prime examples here. Limousine liberals who both own estates valued at over $10 million, in prime RE areas.... yet they claim to understand the plight of the common man. Give me a break.
Homelessness crisis: It's really BAD. That's all I can say... they continue to throw money at the problem but it never seems to improve, only gets worse. Liberal "nice guy" policies only help to attract more homeless.
Fifth largest economy is also ranking the highest in COL, homelessness, worst schools, taxes, crumbling infrastructure, illegal aliens, unfunded liabilities (gov pensions), pollution, traffic, net migration out of middle class,
how can this be?
