He is too cowardly to even do press conferences, much less stand up to world leaders. He can only act tough on Twitter.

Another proud moment for Trump. I did not vote for him, bu he shows his stuff. He does not need or want a joint communique with countries that have for centuries shed people to the United States. He does not tke a supplicant posture, unlike his predecessor.

Now on to Singapore and more greatness for our country!
You are still hung up on the "insult" thing? That's Trump. I was going to say get over it but after 3 years obviously isn't happening.

Tomorrow some news comes how this whole thing went in our favor and you'll ignore it and live in your moment of "racism".

The American producer can't sell as much produce to Canada because of the tariffs... which leads to them consuming less here.

Wait, you are saying that the guy who called for his election opponent to be jailed in front of her at a nationally televised debate watched by a record number of viewers is not confrontational enough?

The guy who built his entire mediocre TV media shtick for several season by telling people that they sucked to their face is not confrontational enough?

I am sure he can satisfy your wishes.

Throughout his remarks on Saturday, Mr. Trump repeatedly returned to his broader complaints about trade practices around the world, insisting that it was the fault of past American leaders who had agreed to deals that benefited other countries more than the United States.

He complained that American dairy farmers were being treated unfairly by Canada.

“The United States pays tremendous tariffs on dairy, as an example, 270 percent,” he said. “Nobody knows that.”

“We don’t want to pay anything,” he said. “Why should we pay?”

The president also said American farmers had been hurt for a long time by trade barriers that made it harder for them to sell their goods to other countries.

“You look at our farmers,” he said. “For 15 years, the graph has gone just like this: down.”

“I blame our leaders,” Mr. Trump said. “In fact, I congratulate the leaders of other countries for so crazily being able to make these trade deals that were so good for their country and so bad for the United States. But those days are over.”

What good is cheap goods if the country loses billions of trade dollars every year?
When we ship stuff and the country it goes to charges a tariff. It causes higher prices in the country getting our stuff.

Perfect example is that the tariffs on steel and aluminum will cause our prices to go up. Corporation's in our country will raise the prices for products because they can. You and I pay for any tariffs Trump imposes.
