VATICAN CITY – Pope Francis on Saturday said that the use of abortion to terminate pregnancies likely to produce disabled or chronically ill children was the product of a Nazi mentality.

Franklin Graham---

I appreciate Pope Francis boldly speaking out for the unborn. The Pope denounced abortion, calling it the “white glove” equivalent of the Nazi-era eugenics program. He also encouraged families to accept children "as God gives them to us.” He’s right, and our society needs to hear this message now more than ever. God’s Word says, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward” (Psalm 127:3). We can never stop praying for an end to abortion—will you pray that our nation would wake up and protect the most vulnerable among us?

Clearly many are against abortion and are speaking up.

Read some of the writings of Margret Sanger, the left’s patron saint of abortion.

The Nazis were the 20th century. Most murderous century in history.

I have a question for you which is relevant to this discussion.

How do you feel about universal health care, and about lifetime caps on health insurance?

Yawn. The vast majority of people disagree. Any other nonsense? I mean all you are doing is spouting off your opinion, and trying to play the ol "its JUST like nazi's" thing.

More like the person the anti-abortion/Republicans like to quote VASTLY out of context from a VERY different time. I'd never heard of her until the Republicans started going on about this person. She's been dead over 50 years now. Get over it.

I don't understand how any practicing Christian could have a different opinion than the pope on abortion.

When the pope has his own disabled or deformed children, then he can talk!

I have no problem with abortion if the life of the mother is at stake or medical reasons.

I do have problems with simply vacuuming out a child because you forgot to take a pill or put on a rubber. I don't believe it's ethical nor good policy and we should be working towards moving away from needing to do that

Free birth control should be the norm.
