The typical idiot, conservative buffoon cannot answer the question.

If capital creates more productivity then why does a society with roads, power grids, airports , heavy machinery and so on keep losing to third world labor? How can a guy with a mule and a sickle out compete a guy with a lawn mower and a truck?

I know but the inept, babbling , nitwit conservative buffoon cannot.

Taxes should not be used for massive redistribution to others. A true safety net - OK. Long term redistribution - no.

I did not say you did. I was anticipating a glowing approbation of my proposal.

Hmm...
Maybe because the guy with the truck trailer and mower has insurance and other operational expenses.

How many lawns can you cut with a sickle and mule? Bet not a 5th as many as that guy with the truck mower and trailer.

Obviously both own the means of production. One has a mule to transport and sickle to mow with.
The other, a truck and mower.

Oh wait a minute... didn't you previously say there was no ownership and somehow tried to get the state twisted into it?
So how does the dude have a sickle and mule? He doesn't own anything as you declared.

You question is off...

if a guy just has a mule and a sickle - he won't produce enough to compete with a lawn mower and a truck. However - if a company is allowed to build a plant in the third world country, and can provide labor at mule and sickle prices while maintaining productivity - then that's where the third world has a cost advantage over the first world country.

That's what the Clinton Foundation did in Haiti. Instead of earthquake relief, him and their group built a South Korean clothing plant far away from where the earthquake took place. With the help of a nice new production facility, the third world has an advantage with the cheap labor.

Your execution.

No need even for a trial.

Yes the freeman eventually created capital to exceed the productivity of slave labor but it take time and they have themselves not be enslaved by rentiers
There's no slave labor in China.

Bernie is a socialist, but owns three homes and made $2 million dollars the last couple of years selling books espousing how great democratic socialism is for the rest of us. LOL

I don't know Alexandria's positions very well but real socialists like myself have few options in our current political environment.
He's trying to be a European Social Democrat in which big business, big labor and the government become partners to soften the blows of the free market. This is not going to happen in the US. The labor unions have been crushed by both parties. The government and big business are partners, now, in crushing both the working and middle class.

Capitalists want to start a business to exploit the workers? Death to all capitalists!!!!

You should thank everybody that they don't slaughter your family too. In the real world, the capitalists and their families, men, women, children, old and young were all slaughtered. In some extreme cases, even their babies.

Who wants the offspring of capitalists? What if they rise again?

Those who were not slaughtered were sent to the "re-education camp" to learn the way of socialism.
