Oh... any "business person" who bothered to do their due diligence before proceeding recklessly.

Trump had access to lots of information from those in the industry but I suppose Trump "knew better."

"Exports are very important to U.S. agriculture," says David Swenson, an economist at Iowa State University. "We produce significantly more than we can consume here in the United States, and farmers across the United States in all sectors of agriculture depend on exports to maintain price levels."

China has become the largest customer for America's farm products, buying well over $20 billion per year. China bought more than $1 billion in U.S. pork last year. But this week, it threatened a 25 percent tariff on that pork and 15 percent tariffs on a host of farm products grown across a wide swath of the country, including nuts.

Maybe you should see someone about your neurosis if everything someone says has to include a Trump retort from you.

The Germans can tell you about fighting a 2 front war.

Taking on China and Europe at the same time is foolish.

Wasn't Harley going to move anyway for Europe?

If they were planning to move to Europe, Trump must have been asleep at the wheel when he made this statement:

Quote:
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Trump described the Milwaukee-based company as “true American icon -- one of the greats.” He thanked the Harley execs for “building things in America … I know your business is now doing well.”
Trump loves Harley-Davidson more than investors do

Dairy farmers aggressively expanded their herds three years ago when milk prices were driven up by growing demand from middle-class consumers in North America, Asia and other markets. By March, there were 9.4 million commercial dairy cows in the U.S., a 20-year high, according to the Agriculture Department.

But China, Russia, Venezuela and other importers scaled back their dairy purchasing in recent years due to domestic troubles. The European Union, meanwhile, greatly increased its dairy production after lifting 30-year-old quotas in 2015. Then came a world-wide surge in agricultural production that has pushed down prices for grains and meat as well as for dairy.
