That he insists on an hour alone with Putin - should alarm us all. Why the need for that? Trump is simply not qualified to spend time alone with Putin. He already gave NK everything they wanted and we got NOTHING.

If an experienced foreign policy expert were in that meeting - I would feel MUCH better. It's actually bizarre.
You sound like an experienced foreign policy expert . You should volunteer.

Why is it bad to sit down with a world leader of an enemy or potential enemy to discuss ways to improve the relationship, situation or at the very least not let things lead to war?

We teach children to have dialogue with people who disagree with you or have problems with to see where is common ground, if anything can be done to at least peacefully coexist if nothing else.

When it comes to foreign diplomacy, Democrats are like, "NO, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER SPEAK WITH AN ENEMY OR POTENTIAL ENEMY, JUST IGNORE IT AND ESCALATE RHETORIC UNTIL IT BOILS INTO A WAR!"
Do you not recall conservatives saying the same thing just years ago when a democrat was president?

Garbage source and background music aside...

Trump is a downright Traitor. He knows he publicly colluded when he told Russia to find Hillarys emails. Why are so many indicted? Take the blinders off.... no telling how Trump is going to sell us out with no witnesses present. What is so secret the public can’t know about it? You Republicans would go crazy if a Democrat did something that stupid and irresponsible .

Dialogues with enemies aren't bad. It's when your dialog with your friends goes off the rails that we have a problem. When you prefer and praise your enemies and denegrate your allies, that's a problem too.

If you're referring to Russia's interference in U.S. elections, yes, there should be dialogue. Trump should be saying he won't tolerate it. But he won't say a word to Putin, except to grovel at his feet. How can that be okay with anybody?

Why do Democrats think dialogue with enemies is bad?

Why would you assume that is what they think?

There is a difference between dialogue with a competitor or foe, and conspiring with an enemy.

How's that dialogue coming along with Trump anyway?

Macron said he was lying about all NATO nations agreeing to substantial up their military budgets.

Merkel said he was lying about Germany being beholden to Russia.

Trudeau said he was lying about the trade surplus. Also, Canada is not a national threat to the U.S.

China just imposed more tariffs.

Mexico says they are not paying for the wall.

Leaders around the world have been calling him a liar to his face.

Who knows what they are saying in private.

Oh, Huckleberry. Who are you trying to kid?

I've read your posts. If you were ever a Democrat, you likely switched parties back during the Civil Rights era.

It's bad because he is going in alone. No one to keep him honest. He has trouble with that. It isn't wise since he is suspected of colluding with Russians.

We know he came back from NATO saying all NATO are now going to pay their way.
That's not true. PM Trudeau said Canada has no plans to change the agreement made between 28 NATO members at the 2014 at the NATO Wales Summit.

See following quote from NATO website:
"The Alliance’s 28 leaders agreed at their Wales Summit on Friday (5 September 2014) to reverse the trend of declining defence budgets and raise them over the coming decade, a move that will further strengthen the transatlantic bond. “In this dangerous world we recognise that we need to invest additional effort and money so todaythe Alliance made a pledge on defence investment,” said NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen."

Even the newspapers did not pick up on this.
