You conservatives are tedious and weird. Change your mentality or we the people will change it for you at the polls. There's been far too much of this hate hate hate, fear fear fear.

We get it.

Democrats hate responsibility.

But there must be consequences for not behaving like a civilized human being if we're to have a civilization.

You don't get to pick and choose who suffers those consequences or not based solely on the color of people's skin.

In short.....play stupid games, win stupid prizes (regardless of ethnicity)

I agree that environment plays a part, but one size doesn't fit all. I grew up in a two parent house in the suburbs. It wasn't ideal with both parents being dysfunctional alcoholics. There was no opportunity for me to go to college when I was younger, yet, I succeeded and my brother wound up homeless.

Another friend was kicked out at 16. He lived in his car because his father's new wife didn't want him around. He's a millionaire today living a happy life.

It's not about black or white. It's about culture. There is a certain segment that adopts that thug culture. It is passed down from father to son to grandson. The media reports on it because it's a draw for ratings. Those thugs that rioted and burned down their own neighborhoods were not Antifa, Liberals. BLM. They were thugs. The right capitalized on trying to link it to Democrats, well, because they program you to think that one size fits all. That's how rage porn and emotional thinking works.

Dishonest statement? I don't think so. I've never seen anything like this ugliness and hate that exists today born out of this rage porn propaganda.

The ones that were killed for no fault of their own are another matter. Ideally if a cop wrongfully kills someone, they are brought to justice. It is unfortunate anytime innocent people are killed and it should not happen, but it does, just like any other murder. I assume most of these killings that shouldn't have happened represent a very small percentage of the overall cases. If you have the numbers, I would like to see them.

I'm not sure what the alternative is. Take the guns away from the police? That would be crazy, and anything less than that is not going to change much. Accidents will always happen because humans are not perfect. Is it time for Robocop? There already is a robodog.

I wasn't going to waste my time on an anarchist, an idea rooted in insanity. And criminals should straighten up and fly right, and we should be MAGA. Sure beats this communist crap the other side of the coin offers.

Go ahead and vote for rising crime, more breaking and entering, more of what you see happening today. It's a shame the rest of America has to suffer because of your bad choices, but living in Chicago, you certainly aren't immune from them. In fact, your standing right in the fire living there.
LOL. I live 20 minutes outside of the loop and a world away from what you're describing. Yes there are places you don't go, especially on foot at night. That being said, I was in the Taylor housing project at night in my 20's. We drive through sketchy neighborhoods sometimes in Chicago, and I'm still here. The Democrats have nothing to do with rising crime. We had the same under a Republican governor, only he nearly put us in junk bond status. It has nothing to do with our bad voting choices and everything to do with a culture that embraces this lifestyle. Stop drinking the kool-aid and do some reading for a change. Research how this thug culture came about and you might even be able to contribute something intelligent vs what you're spoon fed through partisan media designed to keep you emotionally triggered and living in fear. Hint: Mr. "I alone can fix this." didn't fix any of this. Why do you think that is?

Ever been to the Chi Town? It's a fabulous city with more good than bad. The media rarely reports the good because that's not what people want to see. Come visit sometime.

Yes, I lived in Logan Square for 2 years, and Schiller Park for 3. No regrets at all. I loved my time there but it's not home for me. I trust my own 2 eyes and make determinations according to my own experiences. But I'm always willing to hear both sides of the story, because I know there are always more perspectives to be heard. For example, I know Republicans can be just as corrupted as Democrats. This is not news to me. And I wouldn't suggest that electing a Republican mayor to Chicago would make all the problems disappear, because it won't. Maybe it would be a good start though, because Chicago's future isn't looking bright unless the rest of the country starts paying it's bills, or the trajectory changes dramatically. You can only kick the can down the road for so long.
