Don't throw a punch, unless you think it is a good day to die!

The shooter wanted to kill someone, pure and simple. There was no ‘body slam’. He pushed the guy and he fell down. He pulled his gun and shot the guy as he was backing up. Murder.

Just think, this all could have been avoided if the guy would have respected the purpose of those spots.

Well, crap. The video does tell a different story. The shooter does not seem to be in imminent harm. Sure, he was shoved down, but the guy that shoved him backs away. I still don't know if there is enough evidence to charge the guy and the shover was still over the top, too. The odd thing is the lady could have parked where the shooter did and left the handicapped spot open.

I bet that guy confronts another person for parking in a handicapped.
I bet the other guy that chose violence as his first move, never ever gets violent with anyone else.

Win - Win.

Don't get violent, unless it is a good day to die.

There's a difference between decency, good hearted, respectful people and people who are lazy and ignorant (taking spaces that are meant for the disabled who otherwise could not go anywhere if we didn't do things like provide spaces like this for them).
Our society suffers from people (whose numbers seem to be increasing) who have a 'what can I get away with' attitude, rather than a right vs. wrong attitude.

This is odd, the thread says closed when I search it from my posts I've made, but if I enter it through the thread title is a "post reply" option.

I am very against people using handicapped spaces if they don't need them. I know that some people use their family member's tag when they are not with them and park in the space.

The thing I am thinking is what good did the guy with the gun think it was going to do to say something to the person parked there? He isn't law enforcement. The person parked there isn't going to heed his warnings are abide by his comments so it seems he was only making his displeasure that they were parking there known. That is what I believe could have been left unsaid.

I don't know the political affiliations of anyone involved nor do I care. I just wished so badly that the guy with the gun had just left it alone. I feel so bad for the family of the dead guy.

We could play What If a couple of different ways with this scenario, but it's always going to end with What if the lady had parked somewhere else? There's not an asterisk on a handicapped spot that says unless the store is real busy.

No he didn't. Telling someone to not park in a spot specifically for physically disabled people is no way shape or form starting trouble.
