That's the thing, the doses handed out of anti-depression and anxiety meds has been increasing well before Trump. They'll find something. So don't think it will end after the Trump presidency. It's becoming the new norm.

More and more people lack grit. It's an important component for survival.

Well I'm laughing at one side more than the other but I'm definitely having some beers while enjoying the show. No anxiety here.

It's an interesting psychological phenomenon but makes sense when ya think about it.

Indoctrination starts early: obey, authority knows all, give yourself to the collective, pledge allegiance to the flag, violence is the only reasonable solution, worship the State, etc. Public schools are instrumental in the process.

It stands to reason that true believers in this indoctrination would have such severe reactions to politics. We saw it with Obama, as in Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS), but it really accelerated with Trump (TDS).

The next president will surely ratchet it up a notch.

This is no surprise as many on the far left are malcontents and kooks to begin with, so TAD or TDS just brings the craziness to the surface.

Times are hard. I know someone who has both Trump and heat anxiety.

Trump and the GOP have enough problems but the Dems and their ridiculous ideas and the violence we see from them when they don't get their way are downright dangerous.

There are so many Dems that believe everything they see from the negative propaganda machines from the Lefty media. These people have become brainwashed to the point that they are entering restaurants and going to peoples houses to cause a scene and somehow shame them for having anything to do with Trump
These people have an extreme hatred of Trump and in some ways America and that is scary if they carry that ire into the WH.
I imagine living where you do doesn't help ^^^^^ ().

I wonder what Red Zin thinks about this thread ?

I remember she started a thread a while back about being annoyed re people throwing out 'the made up TDS moniker' without hesitation.

Yes, I suppose it's typical that you think it's amusing that we have a president so unstable, so inexperienced, so ignorant, that it throws the citizenry into a state of anxiety - as well as alienating our traditional allies, who realize how totally untrustworthy he is.
