lol

You don't get that two parents can do better than one? This thread is a really good discussion, but if won't address what the post is about why be in it at all?

While I think the numbers always trotted out when discussing the disparity of wealth between whites and blacks are skewed, there are factors that don't involve racism or inequality today that contribute to that difference - if this is what you mean by keeping minorities down.

Unemployment among black people is down for several reasons, and I think racism only plays a very small part in that, as well.
Plus up until ~1930 black UE was lower than white UE. I don't think many will argue that we are more racist today.

WHY is unemployment among black people at the lowest in recorded history?

Because of a five-letter name beginning with a "T" and ending with a "p."

Not always true. An absentee, workaholic parent (long hours, a lot of travel) isn't an advantage.

A single absentee parent isn't raising them. lol You're awful at this.
Compare apples to apples next time.

Different studies came up with
63 percent of youths who commit suicide come from single-parent homes, which are almost always fatherless homes.
75 percent of adolescent murderers are from these homes single-parent homes
85 percent of children with behavioral disorders are from these homes single-parent homes

Actually, I meant to type unemployment has spiked among black people but I don't think racism is playing a role in that.

Unemployment in general is low and even lower for black folks than in previous years, just not at the same rate as white folks.

blacks get preferential institutional treatment for college admissions, employment quotas, and government contracts awarded to small businesses.

if any group in this country is discriminated against, it is directed at Asians in college admissions, yet Asians are the highest earners in the country.

What we see here in this country is inequality and not racism. People sure forgot the meaning of racism especially those on the left. Oh well.
