It might just be where I live, but the only actual Trump supporters I know are my husband's very white family and an ex (a white southerner).
No one in my multiracial family or my friends (pretty evenly split among races, plus some who are multiracial like me) cares for him at all, at least from the remarks I hear from them. lol
Black employment stats may be positive, but most logical people know that this isn't Trump's single-handed doing. If a POTUS has that much control over the economy, we should all be worried.
There aren't "more" Black people working thanks to Trump. Truth is this. The unemployment rate has been dropping since 2012. However, the work participation rate (the actual amount of people in the workforce) has dropped for about a decade. Many people have simply given up on finding work or they are underemployed.
The sad irony there is that cheap illegals hurt job opportunities the most for minorities from poor communities that didn't go to college etc.
So, I can understand not crediting Trump but at least acknowledge that the 6mil illegal workers hurts opportunities for blacks.
Nothing like being able to hire people with no rights, no benefits, no recourse if injured etc. etc. etc.
Murica!
