Girl reports assault to school officials. While out of the room their conversation was recorded on a cell phone.
"The phone captured the conversation that took place in the family’s absence, during which James made derogatory remarks about the girl and threatened to “embarrass her a**.”
“This … is going to compromise her,” James says on the recording. “And that’s why I’m going to go the extra mile and call MPD [the Metropolitan Police Department]. That’s why I’m going to do all of this … because I’m sick of her. … So I’m going to call MPD, I’m going to have a long, drawn-out email just so that I can embarrass her.”
In what appears to be an aside to Stevens over the phone, she reportedly made a comment critical of the student’s attire.
“You should see the dress she’s got on,” James said."
This is the problem. This is on full display in the US Senate.

What the hell is there to "investigate" anyways. It was from 1982 for cripe sakes. All the "evidence" is gone. Theres not gonna be a blue dress laying around with Kavanaugh's spooge on it.

This is how the left operates: Pull up allegations from decades ago, have minimal detail about where and when, but be very clear about the what. That way, you can't prove it, you can't disprove it.
Reason? The accuser will never be perjured because there wasn't enough actual information for them to pin on that person - can't recollect where, can't recollect when - just says "this happened", and conveniently, decades ago - so there's an out if the "memory" was somehow messed up.
The accused will forever be doubted by idiots who buy into this bs. No amount of FBI investigations (despite the 6 that have already been done, despite the fact that the accusation was indeed given to the FBI by Di-Fi and they closed the case...re-opening it isn't going to actually DO anything about this case because they already investigated her accusation and gave it to the Senate Judiciary Committee, as I posted from their own Twitter timeline pages back) will ever change that. The left knows that. The RINOs are apparently too stupid to see that, or they've been paid off. Maybe Lee handed them an envelope, as well.
It's a never ending cycle of lies and bs - because they can just keep on finding people willing to accuse, give vague information, have the idiots on the left hail them as heroes, and they all get rich off of GoFundMe.
Over what? Some asinine theory that Kavanaugh is going to overturn Roe vs Wade. That's what this is all about. The left has admitted it, even on this forum, that's why they don't want Kavanaugh. There is no other reason that anyone has stated that they don't want him except for that. So, they trot out their accusers, no matter how absurd the stories are: "I don't know if it was Kavanaugh or not" but still talk about it yesterday. Fricken imbeciles.
I have a worse impression of Kavanaugh after watching his performance at the hearing. Inappropriate fake crying as a big man for one, too aggressive to some senators for another.
But will the Democrats be happy with a replacement of Kavanaugh?
Don't forget that while the Democrats are pretending to only want the FBI to investigate this within a week, they will demand certain people who have refused to cooperate (such as the friend of Ford for health reasons) be subpoenaed to testify. This will take even more time, and of course more accusations will be inevitable.
Soon Stormy Daniels will be saying she was part of a gangbang porno and one of the masked men was Kavanaugh.
Also don't forget that the latest accusation of Kavanaugh drugging women and gang raping them would have been a felony back then, and the Democrats will insist that also be investigated. Needless to say it is unlikely that Trump will authorize the FBI to get involved, and if so, then they will try to use it as a war on women rubbish in the midterms and 2020.
But make no mistake, the longer they can keep dragging this out, the greater chance they have of scuttling the Kavanaugh nomination, and rest assured if they get control of the senate, they will block every single Trump nominee. Don't forget that if another (R) had been elected (Bush, Cruz, etc.), most of the same judges would still have been nominated, including Kavanaugh. The Democrats would still be opposing them, as the scotus and federal courts have been their backdoor means of getting their liberal agenda done when the voters never would. So they want to protect the scotus hoping to get activist judges to circumvent the Congress.
