McConnell just tipped his hand.

It doesn't matter what happens at the hearing even if there is one. It doesn't matter what testimony is given. The GOP is going to ram this guy through.

Interesting, I'd like to know why.

On the contrary, Grassley won't allow any third party testimony next week, to include the exclsion of Mark Judge, who was in the room when Ford alleges she was assaulted.

Let's just be open and honest, and fair. Both sides, dems and pubs, are playing dirty.

I am honestly disgusted by how partisan things have become the last several years. Our government is divided down party lines and very few reasonable people on either side are trying to meet the other side halfway.

Yale University did not write a letter. Some Yale faculty members did. Big difference.

Yep. It's sad.

It shows you how little republicans care about what Ford has to say. Most of the GOP officials on the hill have sold out their country and have been "party over country" for years now.

Mark Judge was "allegedly" in the room. There is no point for him to be there until Ford makes her testimony. Thus far, she can't remember where or when this happened. She says that her therapist's notes of 2012 were wrong. The fact is that notes are much more truthful and reliable than memory. She said that four boys were there and her attorney, upon being interviewed, says a woman was there also. She doesn't have much credibility coming out of the gate. It actually appears that the Democrats want to make this a circus in order to push further delays.

Remember the Duke professors that immediately judged and condemed the accused there. Just because they are professors at an elite university doesn't make them right.

That is something we need to pay attention to with any accusations.

it's likely they know there is not "there" there. Senators would normally buckle on something like this like crazy.

Now I am hearing that the reason she can't be in Washington on Monday is that she is claustrophobic and can't fly. Another delay tactic.
