I don't know if it is true or not but I do know the GOP should not take this to a vote without an FBI investigation. It's a lifetime appointment. Why is the GOP in a rush? Trump is compromised.
His anger is understandable, but his lack of dignity and self-pitying attitude are not helpful in any way. Sounds as if he might have run this speech by Trump during his recent prep sessions at the White House. Anyone else would have been a better choice.
An embarrassing, unstable-seeming performance that will not help him. He is obviously upset and that's understandable - but his teary lack of emotional self-control is not constructive.

Kavanaugh has not admitted drinking to excess--much less blind drunk/blackout episodes
Although Kavanaugh's yearbook comments point to heavy drinking/barfing from his party time
His chronically red nose and cheeks indicate a lifetime of hefty alcohol intake.
There is a sure-fire solution for that..It's called AN FBI INVESTIGATION and if Kavanaugh has nothing to hide he should be insisting on one...a no brainer.
