Keep dreaming. Ford is the one who has been asking for an investigation, Kavanaugh is the one trying to avoid one.
And to everyone, just stop with the "He didn't have the right to ask for an investigation" line of BS. No, he couldn't demand one, but when he was asked over and over and over whether he *wanted* one, a simple yes would have sufficed. But he squirmed out of answering every single time - even cut off the question when it was addressed to his wife during the TV interview and wouldn't let her answer!
And that's telling, too. Little woman just needs to keep her trap shut and let hubby do the talking.
Has Ford's friend, Keyser, asked Ford why she left her at a party alone with two guys who attempted to rape Ford? If I was Keyser, I would be a little angered over that.
Oh wait, the incident would have to actually happened.
The narrative is that she's confused because of the trauma, so its really hard to find her guilty of lying under oath because her defense will be that she was confused....
I think she's much more than simple "confused". I think she's a stalker.
In sworn statements from several of her friends, they claim she told them years ago of the alleged assault, who did it, and what his professional status was at the time she was reporting this. He's in D.C. and she's living her life in Calf. but yet she know what bench he's sitting on.
Worse yet is when she referred to him during the senate hearing as "Bret". Not Bret Kavanaugh, not Mr. Kavanaugh, but only Bret. That's more like a term of endearment. People traumatized and victimized by person don't usually go around referring to them by first name basis.
Hopefully the FBI will investigate and have a criminal psychologist examine her statements. They may find out that she's a real loon.
The only reservation I would have is that he is clearly non-partisan--made his hatred for Democrats fully known in fact--and a Supreme Court Justice cannot be so blatantly partisan. In any case, whatever happened to Merrick Garland? Oh right. The GOP stole his right to a hearing. You okay with THAT?
You gave a fair answer. I won't go back and forth with you regarding Garland because that has been talked about already endlessly in many threads.
I usually don't make predictions, but I think this one is a slam-dunk!
The FBI will be called upon to make an in-depth investigation of that woman's charges, and will do one of two things:
1. They will state that such an investigation is outside the jurisdiction of the FBI, and therefore cannot be done.
OR
2. They will investigate, and report this:
After indepth, under oath, interviews of all the named witnesses, we have concluded that;
1. Nobody knows anything about what happened.
2. Apparently, no crime was committed.
3. There is absolutely nothing Brett Kavanaugh can be indicted for.
4. This case file is now closed.
5. The Senate committee owes the FBI XX million dollars to reimburse the agency for the cost of this investigation.
The Senate Committee will not care about the money because it doesn't come out of THEIR pockets. They will gladly let the taxpayers pay for nothing (again).
Thing is-few people with an IQ over 70 "see her as a victim of a sexual crime".
This just shows how out of touch with reality you are.
