Why have funerals become a platform for hate and politics?
EVERYTHING is a platform for hate and politics to liberals.

Ignored our differences? Liberals are ALL about exploiting differences and using them as wedges and bludgeons to divide people. Everything they do is about dividing the country, their actions prove they have absolutely no intention of bringing anyone together. Either you're 100% on the plantation liberal or you're the enemy.
McCains funeral was a great display of hypocrisy. The only reason the left has had anything positive to say about him is because he opposed Trump. In 2008 they called him a Nazi and a fascist.
I don't know - why don't you ask your fellow conservatives here who have been tripping over themselves to spit on McCain's grave before he was even buried in it?
How many political hit pieces on him have been posted up here? Much less thr disgusting personal attacks on him by Trump when he was living, and how he had to be publicly goaded into reluctantly paying the late McCain any basic respect?
Stop pretending like conservatives now care about things like "honor" and "respect for the dead.". You guys took the concept of "respect" and tossed it in the trash a long time ago - and so you get none in return.
Yeah because we know the lefties looooooooooooved McCain before he started kowtowing to the Democrats in congress.
The left plays politics at every funeral they speak at. It's disgusting.
It used to be that we came together, ignored our differences, honored somebody who passed, comforted the family and friends, and shared our loss together. At least for one day.
Now, it's become acceptable by the news media to exclude people you don't like (even your presidential running mate) or to use the podium to bash your political opponents and expose your hateful heart.
What ever happened to respect for the dead?
What kind of low life idiots can't respect the person they came to honor and spend a few minutes of their time NOT bashing their political opponents?
Respect and civility went out when fathers were kicked out of the home and assertiveness training replaced them
People learned to be nasty instead of brave

Its axiomatic that you ever let anyone live rent free in your head, especially when something more important is occurring.
Donald Trump was obviously living rent free in the heads of Obama and McCain's daughter during her father's funeral. It doesn't get much sadder than that!
That's what's called an unearned victory for Trump. At McCain's own funeral, Trump is the headline!!
Whenever anyone searches for the headlines for McCain's funeral, tomorrow or 100 years from now, Trump's name will be front and center. That's the outgoing legacy! An entire life punctuated by the name of the man who holds the office that McCain tried to win.
That's really too much, and It almost makes me feel sorry for the guy. I mean, if he weren't dead. The short sighted and small minded perspective of those who eulogized him is pretty amazing to behold.
They took shots at Trump, but really handed him a victory in his previous feud with McCain. Its really unbelievable. But there's no taking it back now.
