It used to be that we came together, ignored our differences, honored somebody who passed, comforted the family and friends, and shared our loss together. At least for one day.
Now, it's become acceptable by the news media to exclude people you don't like (even your presidential running mate) or to use the podium to bash your political opponents and expose your hateful heart.
What ever happened to respect for the dead?
What kind of low life idiots can't respect the person they came to honor and spend a few minutes of their time NOT bashing their political opponents?
It's obvious that McCain even while he knew he was dying was focused on political paybacks and giving the finger to his supporters that made his life one of wealth and power which is amazingly sad for a person about to die.
EVERYTHING is a platform for hate and politics to liberals.
Ignored our differences? Liberals are ALL about exploiting differences and using them as wedges and bludgeons to divide people. Everything they do is about dividing the country, their actions prove they have absolutely no intention of bringing anyone together. Either you're 100% on the plantation liberal or you're the enemy.
McCains funeral was a great display of hypocrisy. The only reason the left has had anything positive to say about him is because he opposed Trump. In 2008 they called him a Nazi and a fascist.
It was as it was, a time for a man who spent his life in Politic's and for those speaking to speak of his devotion to politics, and that includes standing against an imbecile occupying the white house with his ongoing criminal mentality and his incessant disrespect for American governance and its governing institution.
A great moment and platform to call out a Wanna be Tyrant like Trump and the blind minded who support him.

Those were his last wishes you can take it anyway you want it but his funeral for the most part has been mostly unifying. It would have been uncomfortable for Trump to attend the funeral, I think McCain took the pressure off him.
Seems that on CD there are some very rabid people that choose this moment to make a case as indicated in this thread in others.

Do you live in Mayberry? Funerals, like weddings and child birth, have always served as places for people to get their jabs in against those they don't like. If you've never seen it firsthand, consider yourself lucky.
because you cant run from the funeral, you cant argue, you cant fight, you cant debate, you have to stand there and take it, and also preachers are always right no matter what they do
