I have been hearing this filth out of the mouths of people like Joy Behar and various other "progressives" for a while now, and I am wondering, when did such filth become acceptable rhetoric in this country?
My father was an "old white man" and he was the most decent, hard-working, genuinely good-hearted human being I have ever known. So liberals have taken what was the most wholesome and decent example of a human I have ever known, and poisoned it.
How the **** is this filth tolerated today? How in the world could anyone let a vile creature like Joy Behar and like-minded creatures spew their HATE without challenge?
I agree with you wholeheartedly, although I don't know that is true about Joy Behar (as I have rarely heard her speak), but I have often read and heard the opinion expressed by other people.
The problem is that there WERE (and ARE) a great many old white men who showed absolutely disgraceful behavior, but instead of using the word "some" or "many", quite a few people have chosen to take the view that ALL white men were and are despicable.
I wonder why some people who say that you should not judge a whole group of people by the behavior of some (okay, many) of its members, believe that it is okay to break this "rule" when it comes to old white men.
Hypocrisy raises its ugly head once again.

There is a vile faction on the left (SJW types) that does seem to hate white people, but I don't think this view is widespread. It's probably no bigger than the percentage of racist conservative whites who hate brown people.
My father donated to food shelves, worked in homeless shelters, was a dedicated employee at his job for 35 years, never broke a single law, and "progressives" actually have poisoned him, his image. It turns my stomach and honestly, while I never had hate in my heart, every time I hear one of these cretins say that term ("old white man") it genuinely makes me have hate in my heart for them.
Jane Fonda just regurgitated that filth just now (old white men)...strangely after just making a hollow claim about how "progressives" should have love (towards Donald Trump).
Honestly these people are pure evil. Anyone who says "old white men/man" as if to insinuate inherently old white men are bad and truly pure evil.

but there have been years and years of older white male domination in our society. She's wrong of course to lump everyone together but I do agree to some extent to her comments.

It's not literally "old white men" but a stereotype. It's referring to the Republican base that is still angry about the Civil Rights Act and the sexual revolution and wishes we could return to the "good ole days" when white heterosexual Christian men were in charge of everything and women were in the kitchen, gays were in the closet, and brown-skinned people stayed on their side of town out of sight and out of mind. Most people who hold onto that worldview are older white men, though it isn't so exclusively.

its nothing but sour grapes. there is a reason why white men have run things, historically. the cream rises to the top.

This is not even close to being true. You just read how hatred of white males is not only tolerated in the mainstream media (Joy Behar remember?) but is common.
"Racist whites" would never be tolerated in the mainstream media.
People that use rhetoric against whites, blacks, Asians, Hispanics etc. are trying to create racial divisions.
It's actually become popular to this in the media as well.
Just renounce it where you see it and don't succumb to the mindless politics and pathetic excuses people use to defend their bad actions.
The guy that robbed the liquor store was a robber...not a black robber, not a white robber etc.
The woman that yelled something racist at a nail salon worker was an a-hole....not a white one nor a black one etc.
If you're looking for a person that committed a crime and need to release their ID then that's another story.
Attributing bad actions of an individual to a racial group is intolerable.
