What a farce this "MeToo" movement has become.
The mask was pulled off it quickly, as it devastated the Democrat political machine.
Now you have paid demonstrators, in the halls of congress over clear false allegations from decades ago, yet they turn a blind eye when questioned about Cory Booker and Keith Ellison, with actual proof.
MeToo is astroturf, meant to go after Republicans. It has netted Democrats.
I think #metoo is meant to rile up women, so they'll become more active in politics to the net benefit of the Democratic Party. It's a continuation of the Democrats' "war on women" theme from 2012.
I'm trying not to be so cynical about such things as it can make one's world view constantly negative and toxic.
I believe the whole thing was started with good intentions and then devolved into political chaos once it gained steam. I believe some people got sick and tired of the Harvey Weinstein's of the world and just had enough. GOOD!
Sadly it seems that there's always some people or some group that takes things like this and decides to weaponize it for political purposes. Not good for the people who've actually been harmed or will be harmed by an abuser because the #metoo thing has been misused people have/will and are becoming tone deaf to it.
Men can't keep their pee pee in their pants whether it be liberal or conservative hence the MeToo movement and we Men brought this upon ourselves!
I wonder if some of these men accused were actually raised by and/or around a woman/women.
Take some personal responsibility which is something Conservatives are always preaching !
Stop trying to make it a partisan issue !
Today, the Left (Media, Democrats, Entertainment, Tech) is using any excuse to get back at White People, Men, especially White Men, Heterosexuals, and anyone they "FEEL" deserves retribution, and punishment for the past. It doesn't matter if they are actually guilty of anything or, even if they were alive when the past indiscretion occurred. They hold spiritual, and subconscious racism, sexism, homophobia, therefore they are guilty.
I find it curious that most of these #metoo women are liberals. Do liberal women put themselves in vulnerable positions more than conservative women? Maybe this is the issue that needs to be addressed?

Maybe conservative women believe in patriarchy, and therefore that men shouldn't be held accountable because they are the bosses. Or the really fundamental ones believe God made men to rule over women so they simply accept it.
What is certain is that conservative women are harassed/assaulted/raped just as often as liberal women. The men who do these things don't care about their political leanings. It's all about power.
