The #MeToo movement is not targeting conservatives. It is about exposing and putting and end to abuse, harassment and assault. How hard is that to understand?
What a farce this "MeToo" movement has become.
The mask was pulled off it quickly, as it devastated the Democrat political machine.
Now you have paid demonstrators, in the halls of congress over clear false allegations from decades ago, yet they turn a blind eye when questioned about Cory Booker and Keith Ellison, with actual proof.
MeToo is astroturf, meant to go after Republicans. It has netted Democrats.
Uh, that wasn't the point of the MeToo movement. The movement itself is completely apolitical. The Democratic party got more behind it than the Republican party. At least partly that was simple political expedience. The Democrats recognized the vulnerability the Republicans had, especially exemplified with Trump as the figurative leader of the Republican party, and capitalized on it.
Weinstein was the tipping point of sorts when the movement really took off, although the name is over a decade old and what it stood for older than that. It just didn't have the traction it had post Weinstein. Weinstein was not only a huge donor, which would be bad enough, but he was an active fundraising animal. He wasn't donating and fundraising for Republicans.
The pessimistic view is simple political calculus. MeToo was always going to hurt the Democrats as well. How can we ensure it hurts the Republicans more. They did a good job with it. It definitely did hurt the Democrats but going into the midterms it's going to hurt the Republicans far more. If you're complaining about that, well, you just don't get politics. That's what politics is. It's taking issues and making your side look the best it can and the other side the worst it can. Doesn't matter if its taxes, the economy, MeToo, healthcare, property rights, gun control. That's just what politics is.
You are WRONG -- "MeToo" is essentially about women stepping forward who were sexually abused by powerful men. They could have walked away from a lot of it -- I know women who did not ever allow themselves to be used like that ..... but, for whatever reason they didn't.
That doesn't make it OK and they are correct to step up, especially in cases to validate a charge against someone like Bill Cosby or Harvey Weinstein .... Both are sexual predators.
What's WRONG is for Leftists to USE these women and movement for Political Gain - that's what the Kavanaugh allegations are all about - VOTES in the Mid-Term Election and the foolish Leftists and Democrats are just nutty enough to actually say it's about the Elections.
The "mask has been pulled off" Dr Ford and those that came up with this Fairy Tale - including Senator Feinstein who STILL won't allow anyone to see the Letter than Ford wrote her.
What's WRONG is for any woman to make up a Fairy Tale like this - it doesn't just do almost irreparable harm to her Victim .... it does irreparable harm to other Women.
Stand by your man... even if he is a rapist, or if he sleeps with prostitutes sans condoms, or if he sexually abuses your baby daughter. It's the new Republican Party creed:
Maybe conservative women believe in patriarchy, and therefore that men shouldn't be held accountable because they are the bosses. Or the really fundamental ones believe God made men to rule over women so they simply accept it.
What is certain is that conservative women are harassed/assaulted/raped just as often as liberal women. The men who do these things don't care about their political leanings. It's all about power.
Currently The Republican Party has pinned America to the bed with their collective hand of her mouth.
And Lindsey Graham and Grassley and Mitch MCConnell have declared themselves above the law. At least were getting it on video. They get soooo upset when attempts are made to use the Constitution and Bill of Rights to reign them in.
Its a tell that they are getting hysterical when this Woman, Ms Ford, says NO. to their demands.
With this information out about Kav., like Trumps Access Hollywood Tape, raises their opinion of him.

Elite Evangelical Republicans are lost souls that have made money their god.
Women are lesser than, to them.
That isnt going to change.
Vote them off the face of the earth.
In regards to sexual assault, I will believe it more when we have these some or all of these points: -Two on record victims -Clear consistent recollections -Multiple supporting witnesses -Photos -Audio -Detailed 911 call transcript*
Truth be told, while I don't have kids yet, I would be applying the same statements. Even if there is a lack of phys. evidence or audio/videos, consistent testimony from other people helps.

Read the NY Times article. Ellison is the one who got the restraining order not the lady. Purported video evidence does not appear to exist. Worst charge by Monahan is narcissistic abuse...whatever that is.
It's been a while since I've seen this genius slogan pop up.
So, it sounds like a hash-tag activism promoting domestic violence.
