The metoo movement is locked and loaded. They do not care about truth or justice. They care about their political views which are sadly harmful. We all agree that sexual abuse is very negative. We all agree that lies and character assasination is also very negative. Atl least I think a majoritiy of sane people can agree to the latter. This movement is spearheaded I believe by George Soros's money and Obama's ideology. What a sad day for America. The problem is that this movement has aligned itself with the whole Steele dosier memo which started a coupe attempt which is failing. That being the case the leacherous left is trying the old Bork, Thomas takedown against Kavanaugh. No justice no peace. I think the treasonous people involved with this will have a day of reckoning because the majority in the American house will lawfully pursue justice.
But how do we deal with this? Half-truths and slanted appeals directed at twelve-year-olds should carry a heavy legal penalty when exposed and debunked. For conservatives, and mature non-(privileged) minority conservatives in particular -- there is no justice.

And the unfortunate fact is that if this becomes the default option, the delicate balance that sustains American democracy is damaged -- possibly destroyed forever.
You can't brutalize a psychological twelve-year old -- even if (s)he is chronologically well beyond the age of legal maturity; but the "little girl" appeals used by the likes of MSN and Yahoo direct their appeals to exactly such a mindset.

The problem is there is no penalty for these people when they are called out as liars or their claims are found to be inflated to push an agenda.
What is the Left looking for from Kavanaugh? a heartfelt apology? to step down and walk away from being a judge?
Imagine if someone came forward that did remember that night 36 years ago and it turns out that it was a drunken Ford that threw herself at Kavanaugh and when he rebuffed her advances she turned angry and made up the groping story.
She wouldn't even be made to apologize for trying to ruin this guys life.
If Kavanaugh steps down under the pressure towards him and his family that have received death threats the Left will have won and they will be sure to use this game plan again.
If Kavanaugh goes through with the appointment he will forever be known as the "rapey perv" on the court.
Once branded by the feminazi Left you are marked for life.

What I think we should do is provoke them. These two nitwits accusing Kavanaugh aught to be ignored and the vote made to confirm him. I usually don’t support trumps silly tweets but after he is confirmed Trump needs to get the Twitter out and let these loons have it. We need to insult and stand up to the politically correct where we find it. Maybe we can provoke the far left to violent protests this fall before the election, let the country see these fools in action.

The Me Too Movement is an uprising of women against sexual assault. It is not an uprising against men. It is not an uprising against conservatives. AND what it has revealed is its epidemic frequency in our society and all the ways in which it is enabled by a culture of silence.
The harrowing violations that have been described range from harassment to rape, and took place as far back as the 1970s or as recently as a few months ago, but these crimes all have in common the fact that they went unpunished. When the women reported the assaults, they were often told to stay quiet lest they hurt their careers or reputations or face more physical abuse And so they maintained their silence. Until now.
If we allow sexual misconduct to become a partisan issue, we risk confounding and obscuring these causes and leaving the problem to fester for the next generation.
This thread and some of the posts reveal ignorance and a cowardice to be a part of a movement toward a solution. It appears many would rather perpetuate the obfuscation of a real societal problem.
We all agree that lies and character assasination is also very negative.
Those of us who believe in liberty and justice do. The rest of us don't. The rest of us believe that anything is justified if it helps us get our way.
We are entering an age where, if you are accused, you are guilty. This will not stop at sexual situations. It will soon apply to everything. If anyone at any time accuses you of any crime, you are guilty unless you can prove yourself innocent beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Just the opposite of the way it is supposed to be.
Thing is, those who play this game right now don't understand how utterly dangerous it is. And they don't seem to understand it can work both ways and that no one is safe from false accusation that are categorically assumed to be true as soon as they are uttered. They are essentially bringing back the Spanish Inquisition.
